Iran War Watch

Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson: We have a disaster. We have an insane conflict that there’s no way the United States is going to extricate itself from without great losses. It’s already taking great losses.There’s no way Iran is going to lose. All it’s got to do is remain 93 million people in a country the size of Western Europe with variegated terrain you wouldn’t believe if you were there and seeing it, and temperatures to go along with it, and mountains and deserts to go along with it. It isn’t going away anytime soon.And oh, by the way, did I mention that it has an ally named China, the number one economy in the world, and another ally named Russia, probably the most battle-hardened military and defense industrial base in the world? Did I mention that? That’s where we are with this insane president who started out wanting a better deal than the black man in the White House.

There's a view that Iranians are in some ways quite similar to Indians. Just imagine what would happen if you attacked India. You'd have to manage 1.4 billion Indians. That would be a huge headache. You'd almost certainly fail. So why attack Iran? You're just asking for a massive problem.

At the root of all this is, of course, Israel. Yes, everyone knows that now. Americans talk about "protecting American democracy from evil nations," and some Americans still think that means China. Not at all. America's hostility toward China—or its vigilance—is always at its highest level. In fact, America goes overboard, completely shutting out any Chinese influence, even by making up a lot of lies. So you don't need to worry about China.

But Israel is genuinely manipulating the U.S. Japan does it to some extent too, and even Taiwan. Can you imagine that some people in Taiwan, by paying an amount that isn't even huge, can bribe a few key figures in certain U.S. departments and influence American policy to a significant degree? These things really happen. And ordinary Americans are almost completely unaware of it. In these areas, American democracy has totally failed. A small group of people have completely monopolized policy. The American public has hardly any understanding of these matters, so they have no way to check that monopoly. This is outright dictatorship, not the democracy that Americans pride themselves on.

"Day Twelve ..The Revolutionary Guard in Iran is being exterminated, with relentless pounding.The largest attack by U.S. Air Forces since the ceasefireFollowing the Iranian attack on commercial ships."

OK how would YOU stop Iran from getting nukes?
You act like that is what Trump is pursuing and it is not. He tore up the Obama agreement and now is trying to get in place a weaker version of the Obama agreement while providing Iran a crap load more money than Obama ever did allowing them to pursue their nuclear ambitions.

If you are going to claim Trumps new agreement he is pursuing has an ability to stop Iran pursuing nukes or is stronger than Obama's then provide the specific provisions you have seen that speak to that.

As we see reports that the Demonic Empire is getting ready to do massive bombing runs over Iran:

The Hormuz Report

@HormuzReport

BREAKING: Iran has directly rejected any renewed U.S.-backed ceasefire initiative mediated by Qatar or any other party, with Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi saying Tehran will take no meaningful diplomatic steps until Washington changes its approach and respects Iran's interests."The problem is America's approach, which is illogical, excessive, and domineering," Araghchi said in an interview with Iranian state TV. "Their domineering nature has been met with our firm responses, and until they understand that there is no way forward except respecting the Iranian nation, there is no opportunity for us to take any meaningful steps."

IRAN'S REVENGE MOOD ERUPTS: SUPREME LEADER PROMISES "UNFORGETTABLE LESSONS"Professor Robert Pape has spent 20 years modeling the bombing of Iran and has advised every White House from 2001 to 2024. What he sees now is the exact nightmare scenario he warned about: Iran is stronger than before the war began, controls the Strait of Hormuz, and is in a pure mood of revenge. The Supreme Leader just vowed to deliver "unforgettable lessons" to America after U.S. soldiers were killed. The spiral is accelerating fast.

AMERICA IS LOSING THIS WAR SO BADLY, THAT TRUMP ISN’T SATISFIED. America's air war on Iran now runs on tankers parked wingtip to wingtip in Israel and Jordan, all inside Iranian missile range...WAIT, WHAT?Former Navy SEAL Matt Bracken laid out the vulnerability nobody in Washington seems to be considering. Fighters cannot reach Iran to return without aerial refueling, and those tankers need long concrete runways, which means the whole campaign now funnels through a handful of known airfields in southern Israel and Jordan, packed close because there is nowhere else to put them.The wild part? Those fields are visible to every satellite and every local watching planes land. Iran's medium range missiles can carry submunition warheads that scatter across a wide area, and it takes very little damage to disable a modern jet or pit a runway badly enough to close it.Which means the danger is timing. Aircraft in the air when their runways go down have to divert to Turkey or Cyprus, and those governments decide whether to refuel them for another mission.

Just earlier today we see Fox News unfortunately validating one of my biggest concerns right now in the Iran War:President Trump moving forward with Bridge and Power Plants Day.There is no “military strategy” at play here, just to be clear. This is about terrorizing the Iranian people. Let’s call a spade a spade.Spare me your “it’s dual-use infrastructure” BS. That’s not what this is. This isn’t WW2 Germany where we are trying to cut off Germany’s ability to fuel their Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe, this is about HURTING civilians, terrorizing civilians, and making innocent people suffer.That’s all this is.And to make matters worse? The only outcome from carrying out this abhorrent strategy is an Iranian retaliation that devastates the Gulf.This is foolish, this is evil, and we all need to speak out BEFORE it is potentially implemented.

Things have gotten so bad for the Demonic Empire that Kurdish regions of Iran might very well fight for Iran, rather than bought and paid for outside Kurdish forces.

Not to mention the Empire has betrayed the Kurds many times over the last few decades.

Come to the negotiating table is code for capitulate.....the Demonic Empire never anymore negotiates.....the government no long even has negotiators.....they were all either forced out or retired.

Iranian Observer

@Ms_Iranian

The U.S. is pressuring Oman, China and Russia to convince Iran to come to the negotiating table. This comes after the U.S. intelligence agencies briefed the Trump administration that their strikes and blockade have no effect on Iran and that Iran is well determined to continue the war for as long as possible.Trump thought he was stubborn, not knowing that Iranians are more stubborn than him. He is now regretting his foolish decision for the third time but he will never learn.

This is going to be catastrophic. Trump and the Pentagon will unleash a massive bombing campaign probably tonight or tomorrow. Then comes Iran's retaliation which will almost certainly target more energy infrastructure in the Persian Gulf states. This will cause even more destruction that will take from 3 - 10 years to repair, if the region is even habitable. Meanwhile, the rest of the world will suffer from famine and economic collapse caused by the energy supply shock.Trump is threatening the lives of millions of people who do NOT live in Iran.

BILLIONS actually.

BUCKLE UP.....

I saw on one of the talking head shows, so who knows, but they said one idea about Iran is simply letting the bombing slowly drizzle out and then abandoning the effort as it.

How would you feel about leaving Horumz in their hands, and just going home?

The Rapist could just claim he ended the Nuclear Program and declare victory, so he could easily get his dupes to defend that.

Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson: “We don’t know what we’re doing. We simply don’t. We’re grasping at straws. We’re grasping at possibilities to keep ourselves in a region where we’re thoroughly being ousted. We’re being kicked out, and we’re being kicked out by somebody that we were supposed to go to war with and defeat.”Wilkerson’s admission lays bare the terminal bankruptcy of the Anglo-American imperial system: a collapsing empire, stripped of any competent strategy, thrashing about in Southwest Asia while sovereign powers—Iran foremost among them—systematically expel it from the very region it once sought to dominate through permanent war and regime-change operations.The post-Cold War unipolar moment has collapsed into strategic bankruptcy. Decades of deliberate interventionist regime-change warfare have destabilized entire regions and accelerated the disintegration of the old imperial order. The war against Iran, like the war in Ukraine, is driven by pure existential enmity—hatred substituting for statecraft.Iran is a sovereign civilization occupying the indispensable geographic hinge linking Central Asia, China, the Caspian, and Europe. That position makes it central to any durable peace and development architecture for Eurasia. The attempt to destroy Iran is therefore an attempt to retain imperial control over the Eurasian land-bridge.The nations of the Global South and the BRICS are already building the alternative: a new system of win-win economic cooperation that rejects geopolitics in favor of large-scale, railway-centred development corridors. Only that approach can replace the collapsing imperial order with stability and mutual benefit.Wilkerson’s despair is accurate. The only remaining question is whether the empire’s collapse will be managed through a new just world economic order—or whether humanity will be dragged into the abyss.

Iran was once willing to let this end without the humiliation of America, but their contempt for us is now so strong after our demonic behavior over and over again that I doubt they are now.
