Of all the Christian apologists and atheists I've seen on podcasts and debates, the most effective are the theist William Lane Craig and the atheist Alex O'Connor.

I always thought Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins were pretty weak. Neither of them seem to be formally educated in logic, philosophy, theology, and their arguments typically just spiral into a litany of complaints about the Old Testament and the Bible in general.
