Hitler was on the Right side of the spectrum. . .

I used AI, it would have taken me an hour to put it as well as Claud did. . .

Where did Hitler fit in

Firmly on the far right, in the standard political-science and historical classification — though it's worth explaining why, since the "National Socialist" name trips people up.

The core markers historians and political scientists use to place a movement on the spectrum are things like: does it treat human worth as fixed by group identity (race, nation, "blood") or does it treat people as fundamentally equal; is it revolutionary against the existing order or does it seek to restore/purify a mythologized past; does it ally with traditional elites (industrialists, military, church) against organized labor, or the reverse. Nazism scores unambiguously on the far-right side of every one of those axes: it was built on racial hierarchy and biological determinism, it was explicitly counter-revolutionary against Bolshevism and Marxism (Hitler's entire early political identity was formed as an anti-communist street-fighting movement), it crushed independent trade unions and folded them into a state-controlled labor front, and it entered power in 1933 through an alliance with conservative elites — industrialists, the army, the old aristocracy — who saw it as a bulwark against the socialist and communist left, not as a fellow-traveler of the left.

Gardner supports Trump. All you need to know as to his knowledge of fascism and authoritarianism.

So you think all dictionaries and encyclopedias are evil because they always disagree with your cults claims?

Cults die

Encyclopedias only change on facts and then live on
What "cult" are you babbling about?

What defines the Right politically, economically, socially?

Let's remember what the terms actually mean, originating from the French Revolution where monarchists sat on the right side of the chamber of The National Assembly, revolutionaries on the Left. The terms thereafter came to differentiate democratic (leftwing) government from authoritarian (rightwing) government, leftwing-liberals from rightwing-conservatives. Confusion sometimes comes in when liberal government programs intended to benefit citizens are mistakenly thought of as right-wing authoritarianism, which they are not. The Nazis were rigidly authoritiarian and it is that that marks them as Right-wing.

Correct. Any standard textbook on history or political science would agree. Gardner's revisionist history is pathetic. Typical of a lying Trump supporter.

Yea thats why he put communists and jews in the death camps, because hitler was left wing :palm:
They were political competition. That's normal for Leftist dictators to do. Lenin, Stalin, Mao, for starters all did that.

As for the Jews, Hitler also rounded up Gypsies, Eastern Europeans, and other undesirables just as Stain and Lenin did to Cossacks and even Jews in Russia or the Chinese have most recently done to the Uygur.

For someone who touts about their knowledge of history, you are a joke
Did Lenin et al, and Russian communists, hunt down and eliminate the Imperial Russian household? Opposing political parties were banned and their membership were either shot or sent to labor camps. This included the Mensheviks, Trotskyites, Anarchists, and Socialist Revolutionaries, among others. All were factions on the political Left, but that didn't stop the Communists from rounding them up and getting rid of them.

Stalin sent assassins to Mexico to kill Trotsky when he fled the country. That's how far the Communists went to eliminating their competition.
