Elitests!

John Adams was a major contributor to the Constitution-- and an elitist. He did not believe the average American should be in government.
In his time, that might have been a valid argument as universal education was not available and most Americans were illiterate.

True. Yet it is enshrined in the Constitution. Having three branches of government still can lead to one group controlling all three branches.

The way we elect the President is elitist. There is no requirement of a public election.

And then they raised you

Who clings to Republican lies and hates all of science, history and math

You were obviously raised badly
You're right Desh.

I try to make up for it with my daughter. I don't worry about her schooling, her making friends, or trying to be a good person. We emphasize 24/7 the importance of following the Democratic Party and that should be the driving force in her life.

We don't use violence, but if she asks any questions she gets the look that lets her know you don't question them in this household (or out in the world).

Hopefully this meets with your approval.

I understand that I prefer our leadership not come from wealthy families who do not understand what it means to be an American. I do not like people who were born wealthy preaching to those born poor that all they have to do is work real hard. It is a lie.
You should love JD Vance then. Go look at his family background. He didn't have parents with any fancy degrees. He had income instability growing up and had to deal with addiction first hand. He went to public high school and state school for college (undergrad).

If you didn't know it was Vance and just put up his background, it would be everything you claim to want. But that's not what it's really about.

ITs not the number 1 thing, and I do like that about him. I like several things about him, but his ideas and what he promotes currently are not something I am a fan of.

He might change a lot once not under the yoke of Trump. I really enjoyed his book. He really did it, the American dream. Rare.

Wait, you are now mad that I've made the focus of my 9 year old daughter's life supporting the Democratic Party?

It's Monday morning, what's going on homegirl? Something ain't right.

Your lies have no real meaning

Here's the dichtomy to me (and I'm not directing this at you personally, I'm speaking to 'people' in general). You have people saying they want someone from humble beginnings while mocking people who didn't go to college, or don't have elite educational backgrounds, and mock 'flyover state trash' and things like that.

So there's this idealism (i want someone from humble beginnings) meeting real world (you're trash).

I want someone NOT from the oligarchy in government. Nothing to do with elitism.

I know that. So you admit he got financial assistance for being poor and not an academic or athletic scholarship from his achievements in his previous 1 - 4th grades. Duh.
Duh. If you had read post 64, you would have seen that I found out afterward that it was his grandfather who paid his tuition.

I do not believe most elite people understand what the best interests of America and Americans is.

You still have not answered my question... And do you understand the difference between elite and elitest?
Based on what? Are there any "elite people" on the left?

I did answer I said I don't care I care how they behave. You people are the ones hun to up on labels. You label everything. Anyone who disagrees with you people is automatically slapped with a phobia or ism label. It's simple minded way of dealing with issues.

He also said, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

And the ones on the left are not fascists
