Moral relativism

Not with you because you intentionally avoid discussion on the topic....as I've mentioned. Here, here and here.

Now is when you reply with something dumb like 'you were never talking about a topic', then I'll reply with a gif and the circle will continue.
I have never had a conversation with intothenight. He is pure troll.

Who are these people?
Great pivot. It frankly doesn't matter who these people are; your denial of their existence makes you irrational.

Let's recap: You have once again proclaimed your opinion on a matter as absolute truth, and dissenting opinions as being objectively in error.

Conclusion: You never learned about subjective vs. objective, and you never learned the difference between qualitative and quantitative.

subjective vs. objective, the difference between qualitative and quantitative.
subjective: a matter of opinion relative to an observer
objective: an empirical matter that is independent of any observer

It does matter because studies consistently show that corporal punishment is supremely ineffective at changing behavior and actually creates worse behavior.

Nope. I just made the point that things like corporal punishment (aka beating kids with boards) and female genital mutilation are objectively immoral because of the experience of the child being beat with boards or the girl having his clitoris forcibly cut out.

That experience exists regardless of "race", religion, ethnicity, etc, so it's not reasonable to say that either action can be viewed as moral.

And yet I use both terms correctly. Weird.

It is irrelevant what erroneous and invalid studies consistently show.

that corporal punishment is supremely ineffective
... except when it is completely effective.

... when discussing a subjective issue. Brilliant.

Your opinion is still not objective truth.

because of the experience of the child being beat
... and not because of the success in correctly modifying behavior. Did it ever occur to you that the negative experience is what modifies the behavior?

There used to be a Schick Center in California that was the most successful anywhere in getting people to quit smoking. It used entirely negative reinforcement, and it worked, better than anything else. Your premise that negative reinforcement is somehow ineffective is what chops your assertion off at the knees ... well, that and your insistence that your subjective opinion is somehow objective truth.

Well, I could pull a "you" and claim things with no support.

The experience of a child who's being beat with a board or having their clitoris cut out has nothing to do with my opinion of morality.

Do you personally believe that female genital mutilation is immoral? If so, why?
