Magats like @ziggy could not care an ounce less if anything ever is built or follows the announcement.
They care about one thing only and that is the making of the announcement which they can push out as a 'win' thru magat media knowing that the failure to deliver or broken promise will never be posted on magat media and thus few magats will ever see that part.
For anyone else racking up the constant string of failures based on announcements and promises made but not delivered as Trump has would be a big negative but in magat world that is the only thing they value, so for them it is a positive.

They will be using taconite pellets from northern Minnesota.
One might ask themselves,
Why would anyone build a new state of the art steel mill using necessary supplies that have to be transported hundreds of miles before they are made into steel, instead of building a plant that is within a few miles of the taconite processing plant and literally on Lake Superior, which can provide shipping access to the entire world?
The answer is simple: Minnesota's own Tampon Tim Walz would not accelerate the permits needed to build the plant nor provide any tax incentives that would secure the thousands of long term jobs so needed in northern Minnesota.
Iowa, on the other hand, is run by intelligent, long-term-thinking people.
