"How do you define socialism personally?"

Socialism is an economic and social doctrine that calls for public rather than private ownership or control of propertyand natural resources. According to the socialist view, individuals do not live or work in isolation but live in cooperation with one another. Furthermore, everything that people produce is in some sense a social product, and everyone who contributes to the production of a good is entitled to a share in it. Society as a whole, therefore, should own or at least control propertyfor the benefit of all its members.

Since the term socialism entered English around 1830, it has consistently referred to a system of social organization in which the ownership of property and the distribution of income are subject to social rather than private control. The conception of that control, however, has varied, and socialism has been interpreted in widely diverging ways, ranging from statist to libertarian, from Marxist to liberal. In the modern era, "pure" socialism has been seen only rarely and usually briefly in a few Communist regimes. Far more common are social democracies, such as Sweden and Denmark: democratically

Let's hear from board members that are NOT opposed to Socialism, what they think it is.
No lets hear from you magats a working definition you use other than 'if leftists do it... its socialism. If Trump does it... it's not'.

It is you magats who change constantly and thus need to give one proper definition that will apply to all and then we can test Trump Admin with it

Your turn idiot
Okay. Socialism is a system of economics that requires a political dictatorship to enforce a set of rules that defy human nature. In essence, the mob takes from the productive and gives to the unproductive in forced altruism on the population. The result is an oppressive political system leads the nation to economic ruin. There is nothing "democratic" or "fair" about Socialism.
