What the idiot @Matt Dillon is saying is the judge has no business hearing the case if the Judge is not an expert in the area. Which is, even for a magat, a really stupid thing to think and say.

And the injunction given was normal course and in no way insane and the DoJ agreed to it.

The right does not care that Trump publicly ignores the courts and does what he wants. He flaunts the law like the teenager he is. This is not a big deal. but just another of innumerable refusals to obey the courts. I would like it if Trumpys showed that they have limitations with Trump's blustering and selfish actions, but they do not.

Let me explain this in a way a magat may (MAY) be able to understand.

Injunctions typically proceed the case starting and are the judge saying 'no one do anything until we have a chance to schedule the case and hear the expert testimony and evidence'.

So if you and your neighbor are in a big fight and both say a piece of property belongs to you, and your neighbor says 'because it is mine i am going to destroy it', the judge BEFORE THE CASE STARTS will put an injunction in place to say 'do not destroy the property until we hear the case and determine who owns and controls the property'.

That is exactly what happened here. The Trump admin wants to destroy property they do not own, but are the caretake for, and the judge said 'ok lets not destroy any more than 10 trees until we hear this case and expert testimony'.

Then almost IMMEDIATELY after agreeing to that limit the Trump admin defied it and took down over 100 trees without giving the court proper notice.

Of course the Courts are the ONLY body who have authority once a lawsuit was filed in this case.

To say they do not just proves how stupid you truly are.

It is a big deal though, imo.

What Trump and his DoJ are doing, IMO. is getting the general public used to the idea that Courts might rule on something one day and yet the Executive may ignore that rule and just do what they want the next. That is something unprecedented in US history and would have seen a Attorney General, and maybe a POTUS impeached, as it is that serious an issue.

But Trump and his admin are doing it NOW on mostly trivial issues where people do not care a lot setting the stage for when they defy orders during the coming elections and people, by that point, thinking it almost normal course.

No court has any authority to usurp the authority of the National Park Service or Trump's authority of the executive branch.

Trump isn't cutting down any trees. The National Park Service is. They have the authority to do so.
It is DEMOCRATS that are selfsh.
It is DEMOCRATS that think the world revolves around them and them alone.
It is DEMOCRATS that routinely break the law with rioting, looting, fraud, organized crime, harboring illegal aliens, and try to justify assassination and murder.
