What nation started Socialist…

The entire basis of communism, as defined in "The Communist Manifesto" (Marx, Engells, etal, 1848) , was glaringly plagiarized from the founding document of socilism, "The Social Contract" (Rousseau, 1762).

Ger educted, insted of trumpeting your ignorance.
Anyone who would post as fucked up a post as that one, Grok...and speak of someone else's ignorance...is beyond imagination. Thank you for doing it. I needed a great laugh to start this day.

Get educated, instead of trumpeting your ignorance.
I did not know that, but that's before the French Revolution and IS a French name.

Simply untrue. Communism is a transition to stateless nationhood.

Socialism is a bigger state that ensures the wealthy few do not disenfranchise the 90%.
Something that never was. Actually "nationhood" also ceases to exist in that dream state. In the real "Communist" world of The Soviet Union, for example, the state certainly existed as did the notion that private property did not.

Do walk me through that logic pretzel you just made, Frankie. :rolleyes2:
It is not a logic pretzel except to someone who refuses to see the damage Trump and the MAGA morons are doing to America. Attempting to circumvent that refusal on the part of MAGA morons is futile...and considering my agreement with the adage that "insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"...I simply do not do that.

Walk yourself through it...if you can.

Yet, another blast of uneducated ignorance from the JPP left.

Try actual history.

I agree Communism never reached its ultimate goal.

Socialism has never led to Communism. I am glad to see you idiots admitting they are two different things.

Your comment being in reply to mine I wonder among which "idiots" am I included.

Which will become more evident as it becomes more a loss leader as time goes on. It already spends twice as much as it takes in with taxes. This is getting worse.
Medicaid for illegal immigrants and phony "doctors".
I just saw the statistics in MN.
80% of all two parent Somali households are getting some form of government assistance.
89% of single parent Somali households are getting some form of government asssistance.

Even if those numbers are overstated by 50%, it is still a staggering number for one race.

It’s called a form of socialism. Redistribution of wealth.
Money is not wealth, Pretender.
Money is just a representation of what you can buy or sell (a medium of exchange) and a unit of account (you can set a price).

Wealth is food, housing, the computer you are using right now, the water you drink, etc.
The stuff people buy to use.

You can barter for it, or you can use money as an intermediary to barter for it.
People use money so they can convert what they have (pigs, labor, house, etc) for something else, even if the seller doesn't necessarily need what you have directly. They want what someone else has, and like you, use money as an intermediary to buy it instead of going through the threee-way direct barter.

But it's still barter. Just a more convenient form of it.

The dollar is just a piece of paper at best (most of it is just bits in a computer). If people stop accepting that currency, it becomes worthless.

Don't think it's already happening?

In 1900, a dollar was worth 1/20th of oz of gold.
Today is it only worth 1/209th of an oz of the same gold.

It is the same kind of thing with silver, wheat, gasoline, or any other commodity.
The ONLY thing that makes it tolerable at all is more efficient production of that commodity (why food is basically still pretty damn cheap).

Inflation hits everyone. you, businesses, government...everyone.
And in the end the only way the government can try to keep the party going is to print MORE money without an increase in wealth, causing MORE inflation...a self defeating spiral.

This is how currencies fail, Pretender.

Already people are looking around for another currency...Bitcoin, gold, silver, SDR, etc. In the end I think a return to gold and silver will occur, but the US government is in extremely poor position to attempt it themselves.
