Question: That 16 year old was NOT of legal age (18) in Oregon to have that gun. Where did he get it from? What type of weapon was it?
I'm happy the CCW guy was there and had the actual skill to TCB. But it would be VERY presumptuous to use this incident as an expected outcome for any and all other type of situation .... or to use this to push for national reciprocity laws. But to emphasize for our resident gun monkey; to date there has NOT been a Democratic push to ban all weapons or confiscate all weapons from law abiding citizens in my lifetime.
Oh, and for the pointy hooded crowd ... the shooter wasn't black or "trans", his politics aren't known (he can't vote anyway). His motivation is still unknown.
When all is said, little innocent kids have been killed. A tragedy.

Reportedly his mother bought the shotgun "around the time of his birthday." Unknown whether it was for him or for herself, but she obviously did not have it secured. I hope she is charged and convicted.

Oregon law states that 18 is the minimum age to PURCHASE a firearm, but allows minors to POSSESS a firearm that is NOT a handgun and was transferred with a parent or guardian's consent, or is used temporarily for a lawful purpose such as hunting or target practice.
