APP - The sole question when this all meets the coming nexus.

Nothing new in what I’m about to present here other than to pull together what I’ve been saying all over the internet into a single, hopefully coherent, format:

I’ve been saying what we are currently experiencing; politically, socially, economically, it is not new. It is the repetition of past later 19th Century trend lines of the post Civil War through the Industrial Revolution and into the early 20th Century global economic collapse and manifests itself as World War 2.

That the Theodore Roosevelt “Square Deal” and Franklin Roosevelt “New Deal” doctrines were approaches by different political parties before and after the fact of the economic collapse, but both made to preserve capitalism and democracy in the face of growing unrest that was creating fifth column factions tilting us toward fascism on the Right and communism on the Left as extremist responses to the actions of the “Robber Barons” and their harsh “Gilded Age” concepts as what they considered a fair division of the fruits of labor, capital investment and innovation of ideas that produce wealth.

A perhaps major difference between the two periods though being the Robber Barons of that first Gilded Age were still inclined toward belief in things like democracy and the separation of powers defined in our Constitution.

I do not see such inclination in the Robber Barons of today. They seem far more leaning toward the destruction of democracy and the three body approach of checks and balance, favoring instead autocratic rule by a committee of themselves dividing up global resources, carving up the world between them.

Regardless, these forces from our past are on the move again driving us to a nexus where something is going to break. Like I have stated, nothing of this is particularly new. We’ve been here before.

The question is what direction do we break in at that nexus point?

Will it be either of the two extremes or will common sense once again present a coming together behind someone with vision and charisma to galvanize people of like minds, form coalition, and recognition of similar self interests to create a majority to pull us back toward a more centered, less reactionary, course of actions that creates a new “Greatest Generation” (which was merely a way of labeling that renewed conviction to centered, common sense, practical pragmatism as our base societal belief system that recognized democracy and true capitalism - while imperfect - as the best humanity has to offer as a means to living together and prospering in the endeavor).

Whether we have learned enough from our past that the nexus will appear before, or again after, a cataclysmic catastrophic event and what direction we pick, that is the sole question we’ll have to answer.

This is very difficult to answer as people today are more isolated and selfish than in the past. If we have a cataclysmic event like a world war, I think the resulting society will be less, not more free. The World Wide Web and AI will be utilized to enslave, not to liberate.

1) I doubt that will be the sole question we will have to answer.

2) Capitalism is far from the "best humanity has to offer as a means to live together and prospering in the endeavor." "Pure capitalism" is as much in need of significant reform as is communism, fascism, or any other "ism" that presently exists.

3) In a world with as plentiful a bounty as we presently have, the needs of everyone must be met fully before the benefits of "free enterprise" can begin. EVERYONE should have a reasonable economic existence insured...and then let those who contribute to the bounty take and divide all the rest...which should be very, very much. This idea that the rich must get rich at the expense of the poor is something that should already be dead.

4) Lots more to come.

1) I doubt that will be the sole question we will have to answer.

Than what will it be. The only thing I can see ttat would derail what’s occurring is A.I. placing something worse in our path. Barring that we in tails heading to a location we’ve been to before.

If I’m wrong, tell me why I’m wrong.

Name something else that actually works. The world has tried communism. Doesn’t work. It’s tried faddish. Doesn’t work.

The only thing that has worked is capitalism mixed with democracy. Though many nations have found success by attaching socialist aspects in the form of social nets. That’s hybrid has been, so far, a good fit.

If I’m wrong what is better that has a track record?

Possible.

However I think the cataclysmic event is more apt to be financial first, and like last time it’s effects will lead to war.

IMO, I don't think there could be another "Greatest Generation" like those during/after WWII. There was no (or very little) PTSD (or whatever it is called now), they just got over it and became one of the most productive generations in our history.
Short of a major (as Biden called it, a "minor incursion" and we all saw what it was) of the United States, this country will stay divided.
Maybe if we are hit hard (like 9/11) or worse, we could unite, but who knows...

911 didn't unite us but for the briefest time. What it did do is bring us as a nation and a world under tighter control and surveillance. Freedom lost and far more to come.

Yes, it did unite us briefly. WWII (attacking Hawaii) united this country like nothing short of a severe nuclear attack could.

See the progression 911 and then Covid. I wonder what the next false flag event will be.

I haven't a clue why the Chinese Disease didn't unite this country more against China.
Fauci had a lot to do with that, but still, the disease killed a lot of Americans.

It killed a lot of older Americans. Voting Americans...

I’m a big fan of truth. So when it passes by, and I don’t care by who, I’ll point to it and call it truth. There is truth in the above.

Now the question is what do we do with, and about, that truth? Where do you want to take it?

The point is…

Folks, if I’m right - and the metrics, those trend lines plotting points of our economic/political.social decision making comparing past and present say I am right - we have serious things unfolding and we are wasting time arguing and squabbling over brown brown people - yes a few trouble makers but most of the mowing our lawns, fixing our roofs, picking our produce, etc. and not about vastly more important things like the money in our politics, a lot of it by Tech Bros like Musk and Bezos, etc., and their A.I. that’s about to kill us and if it doesn’t their purchasing of our federal and state houses are going to drive us off a cliff into a new Great Depression and possibly a World War…

… just as it did before.

Come on folks…. We’ve seen this movie before. We know how it ends. Rewrite the script.

Yes. The Chinese Disease killed a friend and cousin, and nearly killed my mother.
First, I want Fauci investigated and charged. China should be sanctioned.
There were a lot of deaths in other countries, too. Developing such a
deadly virus should not be tolerated. Releasing it should deserve penalties.

Sorry to hear that. Many, if not most, of us lost people to the pandemic.

Fauci was egocentric and dumb in his approach and application to his administration of his post. Ttat may be the basis of a law suit but rarely is it a chargeable criminal offense.

China should probably be sanctioned for a lot of things. Intellectual property theft chiefly amongst these. However what do you image might be gained from sanctions in this regard?

While it us possible it was created, and that creation took place in China (and at least in part with our money no less), we do not have proof that us the case AND I doubt, even if it were created their on purpose, that its release was purposeful. Like Killer Bees and other such stupidity it was more likely the “dumb factor” we humans seem to possess that keeps us constantly stepping on our private parts with cleats on.

The next one will likely be the Tech Bro. geniuses causing an extinction-level event.
