Good policy is the result of highly ethical, good, people who will do the right thing when called upon by the circumstances to go so.

That us why character and personal ethics is ALWAYS more important than platform in choosing leaders.

We, as a nation, in our national electoral aggregate, have forgotten that.

Trump wouldn’t be POTUS if we still remembered what was more important of those choices; character and ethical integrity or platform.

Because when you start believing that, “good policy is good policy even if assholes implement it”, you wind up with MAGA on the short end of the very bad stick and NAZI’s further out on that same stick.

The things that allow for both, the loss of national good character and equally good ethics, are the source of both.

He described how a nation devolved into support of evil on the level of the Third Reich.

Like the German people who supported the Third Reich, most of them were otherwise decent people. They simply shrank from responsibility of their participation of what unfolded around them. Their silence in the face of evil making them complicit in evil’s actions.
