Meanwhile, Ukraine is fighting desperately to keep their democracy. Yet for whatever reason (his quid pro quo with Zelenskyy that got him impeached) he won't support THEIR efforts.

Everyone with an IQ above 79 knows that the first thing the current Iranian leadership will do if they get nuke is to drop it on Israel and declare the Ayatollah to be the "Returning 12th Imam", and move Islam's center of gravity from Mecca to Tehran. Ownership of Islam is the grand prize in all of this, and the Iranians want to wrest it so badly from the Saudis that they can taste it.

However they want to enrich Uranium is immaterial. The Iranians had no ability to make a nuke. Having greatly enriched uranium is itself nowhere near enough to produce a weapon.

The bottom line is that Iran had opened its nuclear program for inspection to the entire world, and the entire world knew that Iran couldn't build a nuke and wasn't building a nuke. This is why Tulsi Gabbard emphasized this, both that Iran has its highest levels of enriched uranium stockpile but is not building any nuclear weapons. Sadly, Trump lashed out at Gabbard for telling the truth, because it runs counter to his very popular but dishonest quip that he had to hurry and wage a new war against Iran or else they would be nuking Israel. Trump's ire with Gabbard being transparent with the public ran against his drive to OBEY Israel and start a new needless war at Israel's command.

Israel, on the other hand, has many illicit nuclear weapons that they refuse to open for inspection, and Israel sponsors the IDF, the world's most prolific purveyor of terrorism.
