She has been leading solidly the polls. This nonsense could cost Democrats the Senate.
Yes, it could.

Discover how much money was paid to the same-name loon, prosecute him and the Democratic operatives who paid him for election fraud.
What criminal statute would you prosecute him for? Show its illegal before you call for him to be prosecuted.Discover how much money was paid to the same-name loon, prosecute him and the Democratic operatives who paid him for election fraud.
Why are you so upset about Trumps involvement in this?Try reading the OP, do you see President Trump’s name in it?
Just admit that President Trump lives rent-free in your head.
You don't believe Trump would have orchestrated this if he had thought of it?This is the gist of it. What Peltola did was amateurish and almost juvenile. This is the sort of thing you'd see in some high school election for class president. It IS unbelievably stupid and will hurt not just her campaign but other Democrat's as well.
And, yes, Republicans will use it against Democrats just as Democrats would if a Republican did it. Peltola deserves to lose simply to make an example of her for future elections.
Earl is full of shit, as always. The thing was both dishonest and not against the law. But expanding on Earl's suggestion, if a panel of fair minded jurists was assigned to study Democrat and Republican political activity over the last several years and empowered toWhat criminal statute would you prosecute him for? Show its illegal before you call for him to be prosecuted.
No, I give Trump doing something more bulldozer-like with lawyers rather than some juvenile stupidity like this. Maybe sue the shit out of every state over ballots or something...You don't believe Trump would have orchestrated this if he had thought of it?
Did you feel the same when the Repubs did it"? It is not against the law.The dishonesty it paints on Democrats is a "success" for Republicans. If true, the thing is unbelievably stupid. Watch Republicans use it to attack Democrats as inherently dishonest, hurting the party everywhere.
I think this is turning into a pretty effective October surprise. And frankly, I'm shocked that the New York Times is helping bring this story to light.I was thinking about either not voting or actually considered voting for Peltola because Trump needs to be put on a short leash.
But this sordid thing caused me to vote for Sen. Sullivan. (I already voted by mail).
So, is it illegal, as you MAGA always say to defend Trump, and it is not new, both sides do itView: https://x.com/StevenCheung47/status/2115463263089565854?a=cn6RqlLUHRjJj50aSuk&s=19

Inside Democrats’ Secret Effort to Stack Alaska’s Midterm Ballot With Another Dan Sullivan
Operatives aligned with Mary Peltola, the Democratic nominee for Senate, spent months recruiting candidates to peel votes from Senator Dan Sullivan, the Republican.www.nytimes.com
It has next to zero influence anywhere with only six days till Election Day, voters now pretty much have their mind made up now, and any effect it might have had would only balance out against Ramaswamy’s adI think this is turning into a pretty effective October surprise. And frankly, I'm shocked that the New York Times is helping bring this story to light.
I think Iowans and Alaskans have quite a bit in common. We don't have much patience for political bullshit and election shenanigans.
Here in Iowa, we may very well elect our first Democratic governor in quite some time. Rob Sand is running as a moderate, and he even went on record condemning this very behavior by Democrats in Alaska.
And that's important. For a Democrat to win in Iowa, he needs to convince voters that he's not just another shit-stain, party-first Democrat who will excuse whatever his side does to win elections.
I think a lot of voters are simply tired of this crap, regardless of which party is doing it.
"Dan J. Sullivan argued the state had no legal basis to block his candidacy. He said the allegation he worked with Peltola was “entirely false” and that the prior work of a consultant was not a legitimate reason to investigate him. The state Democratic Party and campaign groups denied recruiting Dan J. Sullivan or having any affiliation with him. The director of the state Division of Elections, Carol Beecher, in disqualifying him, did not mention finding any evidence of coordination."President Trump calls for Democrat operatives to be hit with PERJURY CHARGES after they LIED in federal court, saying they were NOT involved in recruiting a decoy Dan Sullivan on the Alaska ballot
Trump also said the Democrat candidate, Mary Peltola, should be REMOVED from the ballot for this scheme:
"They perjured themselves, and should be liable for very serious consequences. Mary Peltola should suffer the Legal and Political consequences for what she has done, A FRAUD ON THE AMERICAN PUBLIC, and Dan Sullivan should be allowed to run without either Mary Peltola or FAKE Dan Sullivan on the Ballot."

I’ve lived and voted in AK since 1998 and I’ve never seen anything as underhanded as this. In fact I’ve never seen it any place where I voted. But if you say it’s happened, ok.This is legal, it has happened before, I think its dirty and deceitful.
in a close race, I would not be so sureIt has next to zero influence anywhere with only six days till Election Day, voters now pretty much have their mind made up now, and any effect it might have had would only balance out against Ramaswamy’s ad
And Americans are smart enough to know both sides play the game

Millions pour into Alaska to boost fringe U.S. Senate candidates
More than $2 million has been spent in an effort to weaken both Republican incumbent Sen. Dan Sullivan and Democratic challenger Mary Peltola.www.adn.com
If she loses her political career is finished. Same thing happened with Mark Begich, the one term senator that Sullivan replaced. This is the gist of it.
In a heartbeat. You don't believe Trump would have orchestrated this if he had thought of it?
We should remember that the Trump DOJ is not a legitimate law enforcement organization."Dan J. Sullivan argued the state had no legal basis to block his candidacy.
