Debunked.
He did? Where?
- According to Alinsky's biographer, Sanford Horwitt, in his book Let Them Call Me Rebel, a group of college students at Tulane University approached Alinsky for advice on how to protest a speech by George H.W. Bush (who was then the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations defending the Nixon administration's Vietnam War policy). [1, 2]
- The Advice: The students originally planned to picket or disrupt the speech. Alinsky told them that picketing was uncreative and might get them suspended. Instead, he satirically suggested they attend the speech dressed in Ku Klux Klan robes and hoods, and whenever Bush defended the war, they should enthusiastically cheer and wave signs saying "The KKK Supports Bush". The students followed his advice to mock the administration by associating its policies with the Klan.
There ya go, dumbfuck.
