You might not like Trump's tax cut, but it's hard to argue that it hasn't already benefited millions of workers. Trump said Tuesday night during the State of the Union that his recent tax cut package led directly to wage increases and bonuses for millions of workers. Trump's claim: "Since we passed tax cuts, roughly 3 million workers have already gotten tax cut bonuses — many of them thousands and thousands of dollars per worker. And it’s getting more every month, every week." That's largely true.

doesn't that mean Obama didn't hit Obama's '16 numbers?.....I've been told Obama should get all the credit......

yea really.

They want it both ways, Obama gets credit for everything that happened after he took office, but nothing before he was there, and he continues to get credit for things after he left, as long as it's good, I'd say the moment things start to go sour that is the EXACT moment that it is no longer Obama and Trump being in office will be the reason.

It's a wonderful world the left lives in
I just hope they all say hello to Dorothy, and the Tin Man for me

The tax cut will be a big boost short-term.

Long term, it's fiscally irresponsible, and will likely dramatically increase the gap between the haves & have nots.

You do understand increased GDP/business hires -expansion provides growth?

And as it is we are talking $1.5 T over 10 years. $150 billion per year is the static scoring.
That's a very small amount, and it that can get a steady growth in GPD,as well as more repatriation of offshore profits,it's a net gain in revenues

It was hastily put together & passed so they could have an accomplishment for year 1. It wasn't thought out well - like Obamacare.

The bottom line is that the vast bulk of it ends up w/ the very rich. It's trickle-down.

One of the biggest economic problems we face right now - and one which continues to get worse - is the growing gap between rich & poor.

The concept of corp tax rate reduction wasn't "hasty".
It's a big reason corps left profits overseas..Apple (I think? )just repatriated $365 billion in profits
and that gets the 21% tax rate -added to the treasury.

Apple, Microsoft and Nike—hold nearly $2.5 trillion of accumulated profits in offshore accounts to avoid paying US taxes, according to a report by the advocacy group US PIRG (US PIRG is a lib group)

I hear you on trickle down,,the problem is US corps have been very very good in extracting out more production from US workers without giving wage increases..it's been that way since 2008.
So getting wage increases requires EXPANSION which drives up wages because of competition.

So you can see these wage increases/bonuses/and repatriated profits are just what the economy needs
