Plenty of relationships are about wanting to be together, and Steinum did not say differently.

My wife and I are together because we want to be together, she makes plenty of money, and would be fine being independent. She chooses to be with me.

All she claimed was that it was not a need, she showed it should only a want, if you wanted it. It should be a choice.


Note that she said a Woman NEEDS,,, not A woman WANTS.,,,

I say this intending no insult to men or women but as a truism.

A lot of men, LOT, feel their sense of value to a woman comes mainly from being the prime provider and when that is not the case they feel insecure in their relationship or struggle to get one at all.

So as women have gained utility, education and income the men have felt far less secure in their relationships. Far more disposable.

That is the backlash we see by the incel type men who have not figured out how to get along with women and find a partner who might be an equal or more.

And that is on men. Women got better. They upped their game. Too many men just want to turn the clock back to a time when Women had no options rather than working on themselves.

That is why you also see so many men now looking to move to Thailand or other impoverished countries where that dynamic still exists. And I don't hate on them nor the women there who make that deal.

The hate filled racist magat incels are stuck though as their hate of others denies them even that option.

You do not foster change in timely fashion by just being polite and asking for change. You need a mix of people kicking down doors while others appeal to civility.
