What did she advocate for that you disagree with,
“God” made women generally better suited for different things than men, but not always just on average. There are some women better at “man” things than the average man, and vice versa.
Thus each person should be judged on their own abilities, not the average of their sex. That is clearly “God’s” plan, individuals to their personal abilities.
There many women who could beat Trump in a weight lifting competition, should they not be allowed to compete?

My wife is strong and independent, we got married not because we needed each other in any specific way, but because we wanted each other.

I'm talking about more fundamental things than physical abilities. The roles each gender is designed to take in the raising of a family for instance. Children need mothers and fathers and generally do better with both assuming they are not scumbags. Not talking outliers just generally. You and your wife do need each other for many things besides wanting each other. You just don't realize it hopefully because if that's true it must be a transactional life.
It would be hard for you to tell, I should think.

White women were the beneficiaries of Gloria's rise for equal rights for women. Black women did not benefit from any movement of white women's struggles. Of the 300 thousand gov. workers fired by DOGE, 67% were mostly blk women, so so much for the woman's rights movement, eh?

But families generally do better when the two parents do the rolls based on their specific abilities, not societal defined rolls they are told they are supposed to do.
So a married couple, where the man is very good at caretaking and empathy (not average for men.) and the woman is better at being a hunter gatherer, is it not better for the kids if they do what they are best at doing?

Some men are better caretakers and some women are better providers. That’s not the current norm, but it’s true.
In the 1920’s my grand mother ran a printing business with a huge press. It was hard work requiring strength and business sense,
My grandfather buy houses but only about halftime work. They told me that at night when the babies would cry my grandmother would sleep through the feeding. My grandfather woke yo and held the baby at grandma’s breast and fed the baby, grandma never woke up.
My grandmother was tough and very strong, Pop was sweet and loving, not super strong. They raised 6 kids, three of their own and three abandoned neighborhood kids who were abandoned.

This is a common problem with confused male feminists. You believe that women can be equal to men in almost every way. That is not the natural order, never has been, and never should be. Men are supposed to be leaders, guardians, protectors, and providers. Women are supposed to be followers, assistants, child bearers, and nurturers.
