Anatta was right - NYT confirms Deep State White House coup attempt is real

Invoking the 25th is not a coup.

The 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution addresses what happens to the presidency and vice-presidency if the president dies, resigns or becomes (even more) incapacitated or (mentally) disabled.

No he did not dumbass.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombing_of_Iraq_(1998)

The December 1998 bombing of Iraq (code-named Operation Desert Fox) was a major four-day bombing campaign on Iraqi targets from 16 December 1998, to 19 December 1998, by the United States and United Kingdom. The contemporaneous justification for the strikes was Iraq's failure to comply with United Nations Security Council resolutions and its interference with United Nations Special Commission inspectors.
The operation was a major flare-up in the Iraq disarmament crisis. The stated goal of the cruise missile and bombing attacks was to strike military and security targets in Iraq that contributed to Iraq's ability to produce, store, maintain and deliver weapons of mass destruction. The bombing campaign had been anticipated since February 1998 and incurred wide-ranging criticism and support, at home and abroad.[3] Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates initially announced they would deny U.S. military the use of local bases for the purpose of air strikes against Iraq.[4]

Big deal.. FB trolls.
It's not like what we did to Russia when we all but installed Yeltsin. That weak presidency led to Putin.
But you guys don't want to talk about that

Oh, really?

Can you cite the verbiage regarding invasion?

Seriously?
Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002 - Expresses support for the President's efforts to: (1) strictly enforce through the United Nations Security Council all relevant Security Council resolutions regarding Iraq; and (2) obtain prompt and decisive action by the Security Council to ensure that Iraq abandons its strategy of delay, evasion, and noncompliance and promptly and strictly complies with all relevant Security Council resolutions.

Authorizes the President to use the U.S. armed forces to: (1) defend U.S. national security against the continuing threat posed by Iraq; and (2) enforce all relevant Security Council resolutions regarding Iraq. Directs the President, prior to or as soon as possible (but no later than 48 hours) after exercising such authority, to make available to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President pro tempore of the Senate his determination that: (1) reliance on further diplomatic or peaceful means alone will not achieve the above purposes; and (2) acting pursuant to this joint resolution is consistent with the United States and other countries continuing to take necessary actions against international terrorists and terrorist organizations, including those who planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Declares that this section is intended to constitute specific statutory authorization for use of the armed forces, consistent with requirements of the War Powers Resolution.

Requires the President to report to Congress at least every 60 days on matters relevant to this resolution.

Re: the bolded - guess you still haven't learned.

Here's the deal: war is a last resort, always. And only when there is an immediate threat to our national security.

Iraq was a war of choice, unnecessary for our national security, and a blunder of historic proportions. Anyone who still tries to justify that invasion should recuse themselves from discussion of any foreign policy going forward.

How was the war in Iraq not a last resort you idiot? We allowed Saddam to ignore his promises for a decade you historical dunce. How long is long enough? Twenty Years? STFU, seriously.

Why wasn't Asange interviewed? The FBI server investigated? The FISA was phonied up as well

The FBI server? What?

Assange has been called to testify, you clown.

to show more then Steele as a source -but really all the sourcing was Steele

Not even Nunes says this is true.

You're at the point now where you're just making shit up so you don't have to hold yourself to account.

That's typically what happens with cult members.

LOL!

Look at you whatabouting and scrambling.

The difference is that Yeltsin wasn't a KGB officer, and Yeltsin worked with the West. Putin was a KGB officer whose own stated goals are that he wants to destroy western democratic institutions.

Which makes it really weird you'd be here passively defending him.

Kinda throws you into suspicion.

Please describe in detail, with great specificity, how that represented a direct & immediate threat to U.S. national security.

I think anatta is one of these Russian trolls who is carrying water for Putin. I think anatta comes here to test out rhetoric to use across broader social media. It's weird how usually 24-48 hours after a new tactic from the Russian right appears on these boards, I start seeing that same tactic across broader social media like Twitter and Facebook.

You're coming on these boards to test out rhetoric to use in broader propaganda campaigns, aren't you?

One of my favorite things for the past decade+ has been the repeated attempts by the right to give "credit" to Democrats and the left for Bush's war - completely forgetting how right after Saddam's statue fell, they were tripping over themselves calling the Dems traitors, terrorist-sympathizers and repeatedly saying they were on the "wrong side of history."

STRAWMAN and LIE ALERT No one is trying to give credit to the Democrats for the Iraq War. Secondly, it wasn't JUST Bush's War. Thirdly, if you had a brain and didn't lie all of the time you would know that 34 other nations believed in the intelligence and joined in.

Lastly, Democrats from the previous administration and in the Bush Congress believed and stated the same things Bush did. This moronic notion that it was only Bush can only be expressed by liars, morons or the mentally retarded; which one are you?

Bush made the decision to invade Iraq. Iraq will always be his war.

Bush made the decision along with 34 allies and the Congress including a LOT of Democrats who authorized it. Stop trying to pretend that you know what you are talking about when all you have are the same moronic lies over and over and over again.

Bottom line, I have never changed my position and come to my conclusions based on FACTS. Not lies, hyperbole or lunatic bloviating.

We've reached peak Conservative trolling now.

Can't make an argument so you just change what other people say.

Get over yourself.

the hypocrisy here is hysterical.

your argument boils down to disagreeing with the factual nature of what someone is replying with

you have no debate, just child like tantrums of saying the other person is lying
