are vehicles really necessary to a modern society?

That is legit, according to you.. :| The police are not there to interpret the law but to enforce it, that is the job of the courts.......

You best stick to your own property & just yell over the fence, @ least there you're still king & can play gawd...

The courts have authority to interpret certain laws, but they do not have authority to interpret their own constitution or the Constitution of the United States.

the easiest way, obviously, walking along the highway. but no, in order to try to paint yourself as being right in the face of being wrong, you stupidly assumed I meant any private property spot on the face of the earth. a classic evasion of responsibility for making dumb assed statements

Walking on the freeway is dangerous. That's why there are laws forbidding it. It causes accidents and kills people. Care to try another route?

fuckin slavery much?
What slavery?
what about the taxes I paid for those same roads?
What about 'em? You don't want to be able to drive on those roads or have trucks use those roads to get you your supplies?
and it's EMINENT domain, which can only be used to take property for PUBLIC USE!!!!!!!!
Public use means it conforms to certain laws, including the use of those ways. You must have a car with certain features on it, like headlights, taillights, and stoplights. It must be capable of safely operating at that speed. You must drive on the right side of the road. You must conform to all traffic control devices such as stop signs, traffic lights, one way signs, painted lines on roads, speed limits, etc. The driver must be licensed, that is, tested for competency to operate the motor vehicle he is using safely and competency to understand traffic control devices.

These are State laws, passed by authority of the State constitutions, according to the will and authority of the people of that State, collectively.

The State patrols are hired to enforce these laws. They are expected to do so.

The government is us, dude...at least in the United States, and insofar as it conforms to the constitution that created it.
again, do you have any idea what freedom and liberty is or do you just ask the government what you can and cannot do?
Anarchy, which is what YOU are arguing for, is not a republic. It has no constitution. It quickly dissolves into a democracy, then from there into a dictatorship or an oligarchy.

so, despite the SCOTUS specifically citing a right to travel freely, you disagree with them. got it.

You are taking SCOTUS out of context. No one at SCOTUS said you have the right to freely walk down a freeway, or enter private property without the owner's leave, or to walk across a city street without using the crosswalk and traffic signals.
