Now consider the scriptures you quoted as if it confirms an event that is never mentioned in the Bible....THE RAPTURE. 1 Thess. would be in direct contradiction of 2 Thess. 1:6-10. In 2 Thess. Paul mentions 2 distinct groups of people. The 1st is a group that has been troubled and persecuted for being Christians. The next group consists of those who do not know God and have not obeyed the gospel of Christ. Of these 2 groups to 1 He will give rest but to the other punishment. And both judgements happen "ON THAT DAY". What day? The final judgment, just as mentioned in Matthew.

Your supposed RAPTURE does not have the righteous and unrighteous being judged at the same time....according to you, there will 1000 years between judgments....2 judgments. But throughout the scriptures there is only 1 second coming and that judgement is unknown by everyone (even The Christ)...only the Father knows (Matthew 24:36) Matthew 25 has all the nations of the earth...the righteous and the unrighteous being judged at one time....not 1000 years apart. (Matt. 25:31-46).

And when the end comes it will be like a thief in the night, there will not be 1 or 2 week warning, the earth will suddenly be consumed in fire (2 Peter 3:10.....as the Christ Meets the righteous in the SKY in the clouds just as mentioned in symbolic text in Rev. 1:7....not on earth. Just as declared in your other supposed confirming passage 1 Cor. 15.

Next study that passage. Consider Vs. 53 of 1 Cor. 15......IMMORALITY WILL BEGIN AT THE 2ND COMING....next Vs. 54, DEATH WILL BE DEFEATED...."SWALLODED UP IN VICTORY". How can there be a literal 1000 year reign if DEATH is defeated and swallowed up in victory at the time of your supposed RATURE?

There is no mention of the church in the prophetic description of the great tribulation period. The church is mentioned 16 times in Revelation chapters 1-3. But, it is not mentioned once in chapters 4-22 from the great tribulation through the battle of Armageddon and the 1000-year reign of Christ on Earth.

The Apostle tells us, "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens and the earth pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, THE EARTH AND ALL ITS WORKS THAT ARE THEREIN WILL BE BURNED UP............." 2 Peter 3:10......

For the Lord to come back and literally RULE on earth (instead of spiritually from heaven on the right hand of God).......He would have to contradict a curse that Father God placed the Christ's physical lineage. (Jer. 22:24-30) Jesus' lineage to David went directly through this Cursed King Coniah. God does not lie. The only way that Jesus could reign on David's Throne would be in a spiritual manner. He has been sitting on the Throne of David for over 2000 years now, ruling His Church/Kingdom on earth, its called the Christian Nation.....THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

I've shown you the original Greek word for our modern day use of the word rapture. Christ does not come to earth. Scripture says we will meet Him in the air.

You have to go back and match up the 7 years to the OT connection to 70 years to get the correct timeline.

Many will come to Christ during the Tribulation...both Jews and Gentiles.

There is the 1000 yr millennium period prior to the White Throne Judgment (which is the 2nd coming of Christ).

Theologians, scholars and lay people have differing views on exact details of the last days. Be content with yours as I am with mine. Neither of our views on this particular subject have any bearing on salvation. And, I'm sure you know that.

Where is the basis of this claim, other than on sheer belief. A general consensus has been made among many scientists and even NASA have supported against this so called "Rapture". I respect belief but to claim such concept is stretching the physics, rationality and common sense of this world and the physical and spiritual realms that exist.

When Paul wrote 1 Thessalonians, he was writing to Christians who lived in the first century.

Dispensationalists refuse to acknowledge that Bible demands a first-century fulfillment, but yet they still cling to the Bible and hope for its fulfillment 2000 years later.

Paul believed that the Lord would return in his lifetime. He preached strongly about the coming judgment upon that generation, and about a resurrection, but he never spoke of a physical "rapture" for living Christians.

"Caught up" in reading a novel describes a state of mind, not a physical movement.

Christians have been in "Tribulation" since the Christ declared...."it is finished". That is when the last days of mankind began as the Last Covenant between God and men went into effect.

The Apostle "John" proves the fact that Christians were suffering and living in TRIBULATION in the 1st century. "I, John both your brother and companion in TRIBULATION AND KINGDOM AND PATIENCE OF JESUS CHRIST (the kingdom is always used synonymously with church) was on the Island of Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ." -- Rev.1:7 The Romans persecuted and killed Christians for generations during the 1st and 2nd century, the old Jews who refused to let go of the old law persecuted Christians up to an after the Roman Empire brought about the prophesied destruction of Jerusalem in the 1st century. You mention the Book of Daniel, SO DID THE CHRIST....who declared the prophesied destruction of the Jewish nation would take place during the lifetime of those standing and listening to Him preach the gospel truth of the shortly to come new Kingdom of God, Gods church on earth, Jesus' church/kingdom.

Jesus directly quotes Daniel concerning the abomination of desolation in Matthew 24:15. Jesus declared this abomination of desolation (the 1st century total destruction of Jerusalem and the Biblical nation of Israel by the Roman Empire).....would come upon THIS GENERATION. Until such time as Rome decided to use Christianity for its own purposes and make it the religion of the Roman Empire in order to spread the Empire around the world (thanks to Rome we have such historical events as the Spanish Inquisitions and the Crusades where Rome attempted to spread its national religion at the point of a sword.

Christ has reigned (spiritually speaking) for the past 2000 years....and still reigns today at the right hand of the Father...sitting on the Throne of King David just as He was during the 1st century (Acts). You are errantly looking for a physical kingdom to come, when it has existed for over 2000 years already.

Jesus warned of what would happen in 70 AD.. that the Temple would be destroyed and there would be terrible suffering and famine.. The only way to avoid the tribulation was to flee to the mountains.

In Matthew 11:20-24, Jesus says that it would be more bearable for Tyre, Sidon and Sodom on the day of judgment than it would be for Korazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum.

The Roman army arrived in Jerusalem in A.D. 66 in Tishri, a month that begins with the Day of Judgment. Korazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum were ravaged by the Romans during this war in fulfillment of Jesus’ warning in Matthew 11:20-24.
