Agreed. They don't teach about fallacies because they don't teach logic. A fallacy is an error in logic, similar to an arithmetic error in mathematics. Like mathematics, logic is a closed functional system. It has formal proofs, uses it's own notation, and, of course, it's possible to commit errors; all just like in mathematics.

The biggest reason schools don't teach logic is because they don't know it themselves. They can barely handle the basics of mathematics.

There are few times where I would take up arms. But your scenario is one of them. I WILL defend others at all costs. Thats what I do, but ONLY if it comes to it.
