Then where did it originate from, Mars? It originated in China. The evidence is damn good that it escaped a lab doing research on exactly that sort of virus in Wuhan. However, some idiots still want to believe it wasn't manmade and accidently released because the proof it came from a lab isn't 100% certain. Spanish influenza of 1918 originated in Spain, thus the name.

In any event, masks have been shown to be effective, not to the point of suppressing the virus entirely, as have vaccines. But your gawds (like trump) did nothing to follow the science, or to even prevent the spread of the disease. Kind of like your gawd Reagan did with the HIV/AIDS crisis.

There are lots of studies showing masks are effective in a laboratory setting, at least 100+. On the other hand, there are just a few, maybe a half dozen or so, that show masks make little difference in stopping the spread of Chinese Disease. AIDS / HIV in the US was, and is, almost entirely a disease spread among select groups mostly homosexual males and IV drug users. Outside those two groups it is almost nonexistent. That's factual. AIDS was never a real threat to the general US population despite quite a bunch of nonsense from the Left that it was.
