Then you didn’t experience the culture. It’s a unique neighborhood.I had no reason to visit or hang out in the ninth ward.
I actually like that better than the Quarter.

Sounds like Maspero’s. Except it’s well known. There was a great sandwich shop in the Quarter that no one had ever heard about. Had great Muffellattas. Wish I could remember it now. Daniels? Too long ago.

Probably on St. Claude Ave. I wouldn’t go there.I once had an emergency dental appointment that took me to the 9th Ward.
It’s poor but unique. Doesn’t smell like piss and quieter than the quarterI wasn't a huge fan of the place.
Were you in any of the carnival organizations or at least go to their balls?Translation: "You didn't have a legitimate New Orleans experience unless you hung out in the ninth ward!"
LOL, I'm impervious to your flaccid insults. My buddies on this board all know what I look likeSays the pear shaped California soy boy whose “friends” are in a forum thread on the interwebs . I’m sure you’re the life of the party when you open conversations about the meaning of life.
Translation: "You have to go to a country club or be on one of the carnival crews to experience New Orleans!!"Were you in any of the carnival organizations or at least go to their balls?
Have dinner or golf at New Orleans Country Club or Metairie Country Club?
I’d like to hear your thoughts on that if you did.

So your cultural experience was the riverwalk, the French quarter and the Metairie townhouse you holed up in.LOL, I'm impervious to your flaccid insults. My buddies on this board all know what I look like
You care deeply about my posts and threads. If you actually thought I was boring, lame, annoying, insipid you wouldn't be clicking on all my threads, reading everything I write, and trying tp get my attention by relentlessly composing posts to me.
Just trying to figure out how much actual culture you “experienced”. Doesn’t sound like much.Translation: "You have to go to a country club or be on one of the carnival crews to experience New Orleans!!"
Feel free to make the case no one can experience New Orleans unless they hang out in the ninth ward, go to the Metairie Country Club, and join a carnival crewJust trying to figure out how much actual culture you “experienced”. Doesn’t sound like much.
Nobody can prove anything on a forum like this without providing documentation.Feel free to make the case no one can experience New Orleans unless they hang out in the ninth ward, go to the Metairie Country Club, and join a carnival crew
The reason you became obsessed with me in this thread is you thought you could prove I "lied", but you kept face-planting and failing LOL
You started out claiming I was lying about living in NOLA, and I could not possibly have worked for an oil company because they all bugged out. You showed a level of desperation to "prove" I lied comparable to Erik Schmitt''s face plant lolNobody can prove anything!!

Oh so now you’re so important that media has mentioned your accomplishments? You started out claiming I was lying about living in NOLA, and I could not possibly have worked for an oil company because they all hugged out.
I provided multiple independent media sources proving you lied about that, face-planter

Geezuz Christ I’ve never encountered anyone in RL or the interwebs that was so full of himself.
I found a fourth multinational oil company that maintained an office in New Orleans when I was there in the 1990s.The news sources I gave you reported that as late as 2003 Shell had 1,000 employees, Chevron had 900, Exxon had 400 in N.O. That's 2,300 employees right there in the central business district of New Orleans in just three companies. I'm not even counting medium and small oil companies.
