The woman alone SHOULD make the decision...but that does not mean his opinion does not matter. She could easily be influenced one way or the other by his opinion. The woman's mother, father, religious advisors and doctor should, and often do, offer opinions...AND THEY ALL MATTER.

But in the end, it is her decision to make...her's alone.
