I know i cannot get thru your wall of stupidity but here is what is key.

- Gov't show up and says ' we are now taking a percent of your earnings and we will be using it for various purposes including X, Y, Z'

^^^ that is a tax.

Jerry being an idiot says 'wait... it is only a tax if i know what X, Y, Z are and if i do not agree with those uses and goals, if i do agree with the uses and goals the money you take is NOT a tax.


That is not how life works Jerry. The second the gov't TAKES YOUR MONEY WHETHER YOU WANT THEM TO OR NOT to pay for various priorities and goals, that money taken is a tax.

WE DO NOT NEED TO KNOW what they will use it do to determine if it is a tax or not.

What was done was people corrected your idiocy in saying 'it is not a tax' repeating Trump's stupidity. IT IS a tax and like Income Tax, is different from Property Tax, is different from Corporate tax, so to is Tariff tax. NO ONE DENIES THAT. THAT IS YOUR LIE.

And yes Tariffs ARE a source of INCOME to the government, so you can stop that lie too.

If it was not a source of INCOME, then the gov't would not be able to be sending BACK all the INCOME they took in to companies now, which they are.

So your view is that government taking money from tax payers in the form of tariffs and then handing it to corporations giving them record profits, somehow "benefits workers and the whole economy"?
