Actually it is relevant to our country in that the mindset at Cambridge that promoted and supported him is used in our (elite) Universities.
You yourself said world class Universities create growth (and West Virginia and Mississippi should learn that). Given that, what happens at those Universities is quite relevant to our country as a whole considering they are educating our future business and civic leaders.
You personally are free not to give two sh*ts about this story, but it's being covered by the NY Times, WSJ and London papers for a reason and its not because they are "Trump d*ck suckers".
