Correct me if I'm wrong, but you cannot impeach someone for something that happened before they were elected, or confirmed, in this case. So what can they impeach him for? These people are just plain retarded.

Impeachment is a political tool. Theoretically they can impeach him for anything they consider a “high crime and misdemeanor”. The Founders didn’t specifically define it but hoped politicians would exercise good judgement.

I think in retrospect it really wasn’t a great use of time and energy for the GOP to impeach Clinton.

I for one hope the democrat party runs forward with this impeachment strategy. I think it will be great for them

Since we know he is an extremist and constitutionalist, and we already know which way Kavanaugh is always going to vote, Roberts and Gorsuch will now end up being the swing voters when it comes to precedent and moral majority type issues like the rehashing of Roe vs. Wade.
