I have thought. I'd be OK with free college but only with a minimum 3.0 GPA in a STEM curriculum or free VoTech education.
Where I went that free college with a 3.0 GPA already exists at LSU with the TOPS program. And I'm fairly sure that TOPS thing is in place with VoTech schools as well. Don't just give anybody free tuition so they can fuck off for 7 yrs., they have to qualify for it.

Pulling out of Syria, with no exit strategy, is just ceding the state to Russia and Iran.

Why? Because you cannot place any value on language or creative development.

Let me tell you something right now; robots can't write scripts or design marketing plans...but robots can do a shitload of the skills you think STEM gives students.

If you're placing conditions on it, then you're not really for it, and you haven't given it any thought.

I don't know any master's or doctorate students who "fuck around".

It's just an invention you came up with to justify your nonsensical position.

A lot of what STEM teaches kids, robots already do.

But a robot can't write a script, it can't design a piece of marketing, it can't read a novel, and it can't teach history.

It's such a lazy argument that the only things schools should teach is STEM.

I enlisted in 1970, hoping to get some training and experience in computer programming. Instead, the Air Force sent me off to study Polish. I still managed to get an AA in Data Processing while I was in.
