Dopey Trumper chooses death over vax, hospital boots the bozo off transplant list

It's been two years now. While I appreciate your efforts, anyone who hasn't budged off the Alt-Right views that COVID is no worse than the flu or that vaccines don't work is never going to learn. It's not a matter of a differing opinion, but that they do not possess the cognitive ability to see past their limited perceptions.

Covid is a pandemic of the unvaccinated, and is rapidly becoming a pandemic of only the alt right. Sooner or later, the rest of society will stop caring. If they want to die...

I can read the headlines now!

Man receives new donor heart- released from hospital- a week later becomes infected with covid- dies just days after transplant!

Well there was a waste of a perfectly good CARING heart!

Yes, I think there are more deserving recipients for heart transplants!

Getting the vaccination shows how much you care about others- not just yourself.

Refusing to get the vaccine shows a poor self-absorbed disregard for others!

We have to stop with this nonsense about people being entitled to their opinion.

That just gives permission for stupid people to poison public discourse.

Daniel Patrick Moynihan said it best, "You are entitled to your opinion. But you are not entitled to your own facts."

Actually, they think their opinion should carry far more weight than the doctors and other experts. They think they are far smarter and competent than the experts.

This may well be how America ends.
A society of 330,000,000 Americans is too robust and dynamic to die. The same can't be said individuals. Certainly not the anti-vaxxers dying in hospitals.

There's the story about the preacher atop a flooding church who passes up two boats and a helicopter believing God would save him but he drowns. In Heaven he asks why he was allowed to die and God says "I sent you two boats and a helicopter. How much more did you expect?"

With COVID we've had the initial wave, the Delta wave and the Omicron wave. If the next wave is 50% fatalities, should we have sympathy for those too deluded to get a vaccination?

No. They're idiots. I wish we had a cure for idiocy and, admittedly our mental health care is mediocre, many forms of insanity, but it's better for everyone that they die.

Sure, each death is a tragedy and if it happens to unvaxxed in my family, my opinion doesn't change. C'est la vie.

As a nation, the total loss, while costly, pushes the US back away from becoming an Idiocracy. Good. God Bless America.

Good! I agree on not to care.

Trump Tents for the unvaxxed.

I don't even think people are entitled to opinions.

Entitlements are earned, and opinions are not...anyone can have an opinion, but no one earns it.

While I love that movie, that's totally unfair to President Camacho because he actually listened to the smart guy in the end.

A saving move, but the Idiocracy still voted for him. These idiots voted for a traitor:

Every empire or civilization at some point ends, or at least is so transformed that future historians consider it to have ended. It is our duty to make sure that does not happen during or directly after our lifetime.

Certainly not the anti-vaxxers dying in hospitals.

There could easily be several hundred thousand fewer trump voters in the next election. That is a big deal.

I always loved that joke.

Yes, I agree...respect is earned.

Opinions are not earned.

"I'm entitled to my opinion" is intellectual laziness.

Stone has a "hunch" which is another way of saying he wishes something were true, but it really is not.

Sure, but one day there won't be a USA. If that day happens anytime soon, we're all fucked because it would be global calamity. Save the last bullet for yourself.

Sure. It wouldn't be the first time a Republican President started a civil war killing 2% of the population...which in today's terms equals 6.6M dead Americans. Still, the good guys always win right? LOL

Me too. :)

Our failure would take much of the world with us... Yet again, let's work hard to keep it from happening.

Maybe I am just an optimist, but I really do believe that things get better, over time. That being said, I fully accept we can have a thousand years of things getting worse. And there is no certainty about things always getting better over time.
