Earth Day April 22, 2019

Isn't rhino horn also considered a love potion thing, and that's why they're poached? One species has recently been declared extinct, the black rhino. This link might make you weep.

Yep, the Asians are poaching and eating much of the world's rare wildlife. And what they do to Bears is horrific. But all libs care about is making Al Gore rich, so they don't about these things.

99.9999% chance humans are causing global warming,
and other science-based facts on climate change for Earth Day

Climate change is real and increasingly a part of our daily lives. New research and studies out in just the past six months highlight the latest facts about the human-caused shift to our global weather systems and its effects on our planet.

First among them, there's no longer any question that rising temperatures and increasingly chaotic weather are the work of humanity. There's a 99.9999% chance that humans are the cause of global warming, a February study reported. That means we've reached the "gold standard" for certainty, a statistical measure typically used in particle physics.

The mechanism is well understood and has been for decades. Humans burn fossil fuels such as oil, coal and gas, which release carbon dioxide (CO2), methane and other gases into the Earth's atmosphere and oceans. CO2 is the greenhouse gas that's most responsible for warming.

I am glad you are participating in the thread. I cannot imagine a better representative to highlight the modern Republican view of environmentalism and on the protection of our planet.

Rhino horns, shark fins, elephant tusks, pangolin scales.

It really should be enough for us as humans to take stock and reflect on the scale of the atrocities we are committing, all in the name of our vanity.

Sadly, we have a presidential family who thinks wasting elephants in a hailstorm of bullets is just great fun. I don't see leadership coming out of this White House in the slightest.

Contrary to liberal stupidity, hunting tourism dollars support conservation and help control populations.

One reason I thought being a registered Republican was an okay thing to do when I was in my early 20s, was I thought the party at that time was relatively pro-environment.

Today, we have a presidential family that likes to hunt and slaughter elephants and leopards.

I'm waiting for my Spotted Owl hot wings, with Manatee dipping sauce. I just ordered it.

I have the turd on ignore. So he's actually NOT resorting to the usual personal attacks?

For BigDunce: Sure, blame Asians for shit. Don't look at any of those photos by the Toadstool Klan of murdered elephants, big cats, and so on -- with the buck-toothed gloating sons standing over them. Try really hard not to look at any of the EOs issued by the Toadstool allowing shit like coal ash to once again be dumped into our water ways. No -- just focus on Asia, and be sure to boil your water and wear a mask.

You would have to see the whole exchange to be aware of my sarcasm.

Empathy for dead trees? Yeah, guilty as charged.

Lol, I have plenty of empathy, I'm just mocking the fake "environmentalists".

Which I'm sure you define as "anyone who won't let me do what I want with my land and the lifeforms on it, and that goes double for corporations."

Thank you. Democrats only care about profiting from the Al Gorian hoax, and using it to keep the poor ... poor.

I get a little steamed myself when I think of all the callous billionaires profiteering off solar panels, recycled plastic, and organic farming. There should be a law against that kind of immoral, rampant greed.

Yep, most "GREEN" marketing is a corporate farce for virtue signaling rich libs. You never see the poor begging for higher energy and food prices, or buying French bottled water.

Same thing!Corporate Capitalism,buy off politicians!

Giving politicians control of all private wealth is a bad idea. The politicians are the problem. They are the ones accepting bribes.

We fought a war to get rid of monarchy.
