End of the line for noted traitor Robert E Lee

Racism is a lost cause.

It would have died decades ago and only owes a recent slight resurgence to the introduction of the internet, which has given a more powerful voice to hatred.

Loving compassionate people have had enough.

I am very pleased to see all the white faces joining the protests.

It is a multi-racial movement against hatred.

This has happened since we started this experiment. Little has changed. Blacks still get controlled and "owned " by the wealthy. Equality has been a myth. The blacks know. They live outside the American dream. They have poor or no healthcare. They have substandard schools. Their opportunities are much lower than whites and they are smart enough to understand it.. I hope the results are different this time, but I see no move to really help the poor. It would be nice not to face physical abuse from cops. But the real problems still exist.

You're years out of date with that fig-leaf for fascists. International law is the route to peace - so accept it or be branded complicit with Izraeli terrorism. And racism, of course. The neoZionist scum are degenerates.

You don't count. You will do it the Israeli way, or you will go into further exile when Greater Israel is created taking in all of the West Bank.

Lee was a great tactical and operational general, not so good strategically. Anybody tells you different, laugh at them and walk away.

His major failure militarily, imo, is that he did not understand the principle of 'defensive offensive' quickly enough, though he sure did by Cold Harbor and Petersburg.

He was a slave owner who had his chattel beaten to ensure obedience and labor output.

Anybody tells you differently, just nod and walk away. They are not worth your time.

Statues are commemorative things - they're really meant more to honor.

We don't generally have statues of history's villains, right?

Robert E. Lee was no villian, if you think he was, you're an indoctrinated woketard.

Try reading some actual history sometime. (Before they delete it all from online)

They can't take my hard copies. That why books are good, they can't be edited with the stroke of a keyboard. ;)

Should that happen then it will be taken back at some future point and the Izraeli fascists will be treated as the defeated Nazis were. What goes around comes around. THIS time America will be on the wrong side of history. As a supporter of fascism you already are, of course.

He certainly made mistakes. Now do the Yankee Generals and Lincoln himself. :)

Hello Dutch Uncle,

He fought AGAINST THE UNITED STATES.

He violated the United States Constitution.

He tried to destroy the United States of America.

The only thing we should celebrate about Lee is that he failed and he lost.

Darn good thing!

The "United States" attacked his country, Virginia. Call him what you want, but you're wrong to call him a traitor. Too many people on this forum don't understand how Americans thought about their states. They weren't "Americans" then, they were Virginians, Texans and New Yorkers. There is a very key point about the Civil War and what it meant to the United States.

Historian Shelby Foote put it best: Before the war, it was said "the United States are." Grammatically, it was spoken that way and thought of as a collection of independent states. And after the war, it was always "the United States is," as we say to day without being self-conscious at all. And that's sums up what the war accomplished.

:) Keep drinking the suds, my friend. America is on the right side of history, and the Jewish state will be in existence much longer than the rest of the ME 'nations.'

Dutch Uncle, Lincoln warned the southern states against a War of Southern Aggression.

They ignored him, so he murdered the Old South.

Yes, propped up by the USA who lets them murder innocent Palestinians. We should feel great shame for the atrocities we have allowed.

lol nothing about Hamas enslaving the Palestinians and using them for cannon fodder for their corrupt leadership?
*not surprising*

I think we can force Biden to seriously take it on. He could make it his legacy and become very popular.

If he is smart, he is looking around at this movement and getting ideas...

Virginia was not a country, never was. The confederacy was never recognized as a country by the United States or any other country. The Confederacy fired the first shot in the war.

Can it, Phantasmal. The Arabs lost in 1948 and have been losing ever since. Tell them to stop the rockets, bombs, and knives, so that their children have a good life. Or move them to Madagascar.
