Facing the possibility of strategic defeat in his Iran War, an angry Trump is screaming at advisors

‘Exasperated’ Trump battles with White House officials ‘over Iran strategy’

President Donald Trump is “exasperated” by the lack of progress in ending the Iran conflict and the lack of consensus on strategy among his top military advisers, according to a report.

An unnamed ally of the president has told NBC News: “The president is exasperated. I don’t think he believed it was going to be this difficult to get the Iranians to agree to a deal.

“There was not a real strategy for how long or what they should do to get to the endpoint… He did not intend this to be a long, drawn-out war.”

“After all this time, there is no unity,” the official said. “We have had a series of tactical victories but are facing a strategic defeat without clear policy guidance or a decision about where this is going.”

The source told NBC that Trump had “erupted” during a meeting with his top national security team last week and had even yelled expletives at those present.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has denied that the incident took place, however,

Crazy Trump bit off more than he can chew, and now he's blaming others.

No that is NOT what you claimed. You claimed shortages due to the Iran war blockading the Straight of Hormuz are being made up via stuff shipped via the Red Sea - which is total bullshit. But that's you.
Yes, it is. Oil is moving to tankers on the Red Sea instead of out of the Gulf.

The key distinction: Hormuz is uniquely difficult to bypass because it is the only maritime exit from the Persian Gulf. The Red Sea can provide an alternative for Saudi oil and some regional logistics, but it cannot simply absorb all the traffic that normally passes through Hormuz.

Translation: trump has fucked the world.

This is a remarkable 25 year period in American history.

In a just 25 years one political party - in this case the GOP - has led us into three major wars that ultimately resulted in strategic disaster/defeat. Afghanistan War, Iraq War, and Iran War.

No I'm saying Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations are transporting their oil by pipeline to ports on the Red Sea and loading it on tankers there. Iran isn't shipping their oil anywhere at the moment. In fact, they've had to shut down much of their production simply because they've run out of places to store it.

That was 60 to 90 days ago. Now they've run out of space.

It isn't. It's just making demands and threats that are all but empty. We can't declare victory because leaving things as they currently are will just see the Iranian leadership, such as still remains, regain control, recover their losses, and try again. Rather than finish the war, what you are calling for is simply a lull between conflicts in a never-ending war.
Rather than stopping the flow of a well (very damaging), they are fire venting instead. Iran has no place to store oil left.

And he is so stupid he thinks we were in a DEPRESSION under Obama.
Doesn't matter to him that Bush was the one that got us into a deep recession almost Depression and it was Obama that got us out of it,
Facts are not his friend.
He is one really stupid ASSHOLE.

I think he really wants to believe the shit he posts. He also lies about his love for Trump. You can tell how pissed terry is when anyone calls Trump out.

I am of the belief that Dump is only a figure head, and it's the boys in the backroom (military/corporate complex) that are calling the shots ... and the screw-ups. But as I said, its a belief.

His reply is accurate but because you do not like any truth that seems to say Trump made any mistake you just dismiss it. That is your TDS, Terry.

If China had not made the strategic decision to draw down their massive oil strategic reserves, hoping to refill them at a later date at much lower prices and banking that profit the world would be paying much higher oil prices now because of the reduction of product making it out of the Strait.

----

China slashed its crude oil imports by roughly 4 to 5 million barrels per day, dropping to a low of about 7.12 million barrels per day in June. [1, 2]

Beijing has relied on its massive inventory—estimated near 1.39 billion barrels—running domestic refineries on stored reserves instead of buying expensive spot crude. [1, 2]

This unexpected reduction in demand absorbed nearly a third of the supply lost from the Strait of Hormuz crisis, preventing Brent crude from surging to catastrophic levels past $150 a barrel. [1, 2, 3]

But we haven't "fail(ed) to defeat the enemy." At the moment it is simply in a stalemate and war of attrition, one that Iran is losing badly. Your demand for instant results, notwithstanding.
This is where we fail. Our system—with elections every two years and policy that can turn on a dime—is not built for wars of attrition. That is our Achilles’ heel.

Worse, I struggle to see what “winning” even means. Destroy the nuclear program? Change the regime? Degrade Iran indefinitely?

but losing is easy to imagine: Iran simply holds out until we change course. It survives, walks away feeling stronger, and every adversary on the globe learns the same lesson—America does not have to be defeated; it only has to be outlasted.
