Finally, intelligent gun regulations

Not "poll taxes" a liability fee to cover voting for a fucking moron.

Why do you have problem freezing out the poor in favor of those with the money to pass a citizenship exam and a $25 annual voting fee to cover costs, liability, etc? Just like guns. You said it yourself "every Constitutional right can and is regulated, Second Amendment isn’t any different".

Be careful what you ask for in the name of expedient politics.

Exactly. Any time a Right can be taxed, or demand you pay a fee to exercise it, it no longer is a Right it becomes something the government can take away or give you on a whim.

Question still remains under what conditions they made it a right, Scalia dumped the prefatory clause cause he was on a political mission, but regardless, fact remains, no Constitutional right is absolute, they all are, and have been, regulated

Noni like your wisdom here and maybe it explains why Brandon has allowed empty shelves in the supermarket, less.acxessnto food less obesity. You leftists are smarter than I gave you credit for.

Your eating pizza at a cubs game sure makes the families of the 836 homicide victims in Chicago last year feel much better.

Who would eat pizza at a Cubs game?

And the families of those homicide victims, like the families of any homicide victim, would feel better if the perk that shot them didn’t have easy assess to the gun he used

“Toughest gun laws” mean nothing when Indiana is only a twenty minute drive away,

Most of the guns come from around Chicago

CITY OF CHICAGO • OFFICE OF THE MAYOR
CHICAGO POLICE DEPARTMENT

Seven of the top ten source dealers are within Illinois, and six of those seven fall within the Cook County suburbs that
border Chicago. The remaining FFL source dealers within the top ten are located in northwest Indiana. Collectively, these
ten source dealers make up almost a quarter of the crime guns recovered in Chicago, despite the existence of many other
federally licensed dealers in Chicago’s vicinity.

For the better part of a decade, Chuck’s Gun Shop and Midwest Sporting Goods have consistently remained the top
two FFL source dealers for crime guns recovered by police in Chicago.

Then let's tax abortions. Make it harder to get abortion s the fewer abortions there will be. It also works for obesity which is a.l major health problem. Less access to food less obesity, that's why Brandon wants emoty shelves in the supermarket

Right, and “there is no such thing as truth,” oh, least we forget, “man has a natural right to own a gun,” one of my favorites

Belittlement fallacy. The right of self defense is inherent. Man has a natural to own a gun or any other weapon.
The 2nd amendment does NOT specify arms based on type, brand name, style of action, length of barrel, bore, type name, or any other factor.

”San Jose could set a precedent by requiring gun insurance”

“San Jose may become the first city in the nation to mandate an annual gun owner fee and liability insurance in an effort to curb gun violence.”

“The City Council will take a vote on Tuesday and if passed, San Jose residents who own guns will have to pay a $25 fee per household and purchase gun insurance that specifically covers losses or damages resulting from “any negligent or accidental use of the firearm” in six months, according to the ordinance.”

Amazing it has taken this long, treating guns just as we do vehicles, especially liability requirements, and before the gun nuts begin, every Constitutional right can and is regulated, Second Amendment isn’t any different

Sweet, just another unconstitutional place I will never live, or visit, and yes I do know you and they don't care! Can we start forcing gang bangers to purchase insurance?

Rights do not come from a piece of paper. No federal or State government has the authority to ban or limit any type of weapon, including any type of gun. No federal or State government has authority to require purchase of any item, including insurance of any type.

Nah, ain’t interested in the deflection, the sensible gun regulation of the thread has zero to do with Biden nor supermarkets

You telling me Chicago is safe is less than irrelevant.

Some of the toughest gun laws in the country and still 836 dead last year. The worst year in a decade.

Late joined, again, as I’ve said before, probably won’t, but down the road, the more one can lessen accessibility to guns today effects the greater number of guns in circulation later

Not a rhetorical question, will it lesson access to guns or just push more guns to either the black market or other non traditional sources?

I'm not a gun person so this isn't an area I'm well versed in. But I have a difficult time believing someone who desires a gun or wants to do harm can't find a weapon if they so desire.

Im using your rationale, less access to guns less violence. Obesity is a major health crisis in America it don't you care? Evil prick. I'm using your formula less a cess to food less obesity. Why are you not on board? Oh that's right because your reasoning is fucking retarded.

And I explained why, roughest gun laws mean nothing when gun accessibility is nearby
