At the end of the day, none of it matters outside the classroom or the Jeopardy studios except to people hell bent on finding a way to feel superior about their group over another group. It's not like a mechanic needs to be correct on whether or not somebody got swallowed by a leviathan to change your oil or replace an air sensor.
I’m sorry, but I disagree, allowing ignorance to be taught will have an effect, even on a auto mechanic because it leads to more ignorance and where is the line eventually drawn?

For some reason, more people tend to want to live in the big blue cities, thus driving up the property values --also, this may sound crazy -- but significantly more people tend to live in those big cities compared to rural areas -- so for some reason, this means more people may be homeless there

No and yes.. However, I do think people can be unhappy with their gender and no woman should carry a baby she doesn't want and/or can't afford.
I believe that no man knows exactly how old the earth might actually be.....and yes I accept the physical evidence that the totality of the earth's surface has at some point in earths history been covered in water as the fossil evidence proves. The highest points on earth are covered in sea life fossils. Proving what? Total submergence ….which by the way effects and makes invalid any attempt to date anything via the theory of radio carbon dating (past 5000 years...recorded history) as water leeching makes such numbers not subject to calibration. I mean its not like the fossil remains of all the dinos found have been found to exist in soft sediment type layers...where predators and plant eaters alike are found gathered in PILES.....like they were caught up some sudden event...or is it MAGIC DIRT that makes some of the finds actually retain traces of DNA like the t-rex find just recently in history?
