For Populist Democrats, a Movement Fueled by Anger at Both Parties

A Montana wilderness firefighter, an Ohio ironworker and a lawyer who worked as a barista in Colorado while pursuing a Ph.D. would appear to have little in common. But all three represent a profusion in the midterm elections of anti-establishment populist Democrats who share, or at least seek to channel, the welling vexations of the American electorate.

They are young, or youngish. They are angry. They are fed up with the Democratic establishment. Two won primaries for House seats in red districts they hope to flip, and the third beat a longtime Democratic incumbent in a deep blue district. All are new to politics, which they consider a virtue.

Nobody gives a fuck if they are angry. If they actually work for America and Americans than bring them on. Nobody will give a shit what you call yourself if you can work for America and Americans. The problem is the power that has been accumulated at the level of federal govt makes it really tempting to do just what the current parties are doing, looking out for their interests and not those of the people they represent

YOu apparently did, so why blame others?
No. I tried repeatedly to warn you far leftists. I actually wanted dems to nominate a moderate because I didn't want Trump to win , but like the pubs, moderates no longer exist in your party.
A moderate would have easily defeated trump IMO. There's a lot of republican voters that hate trump. They just hate dem extremists more.
And between a moderate dem and trump, I"m sure dems would've voted for the dem.
