Fox News Labelled "Propaganda Network For Donald Trump" Using Racism, Sexism, Bigotry

Hello Darth,

I still don't get your point. These are very common terms. Why do you want me to define them?

Ok, since we both know the definitions.

Is there any instance where people attribute white nationalism to Trump or his supporters when it would be more accurate to use the term economic nationalism?

Hello Earl,

If Media Matters were credible, they would comprehensively monitor, analyze, and correct liberal misinformation in the U.S. media. There is far more bias and misinformation there.

So you say. But just because you believe something doesn't make it true. Go ahead and try to point out anything incorrect that Media Matters has said. Fox News is totally in the bag for Trump.

The reason there is no conservative counterpart to Media Matters is because there is simply so much more propaganda on Conservative slanted news shows. I think one of the big differences between main stream news and conservative news is conservative portrayals of liberals. You don't see a lot of propaganda on the left disparaging the right by pushing stereotypes. Where are the liberal caricatures of the right as 'loony?"

Where are the liberal counterparts to Rush Limbaugh or Ann Coulter?

People on the left talk about issues.

People on the right talk about people on the left.

A huge amount of conservative philosophy is based on selfish issues and hating the left.

A huge amount of liberal philosophy is based on addressing common issues and wanting a great world to live in.

I don't know. I never thought about that. I haven't noticed it if it has occurred. Can you point to an example?

Well, no.

I do note that you did not refute my post.

Correct. I did not. Thanks for pointing out my oversight.

Most watched is one thing. Most trusted is another. I supposed it would be accurate to say Fox News is the most trusted source of propaganda for Donald Trump, but I do not believe Fox News is the most trusted news source for all of America, which includes people who do not even watch much TV.

Hello Darth,

MAGA=white nationalism.

I don't know who said that but I don't agree. What is the point of equating a stupid slogan with the aspects of some deplorable Trump supporters? (Not that all Trump supporters are deplorable. Some are, some are not.) They are completely different concepts.

The slogan is ridiculous because America is already great and has been for a long time.

White nationalism is just insecure people hating on others who are not like them.

Why would a news source have the largest viewership if trust in the accuracy was not extant? I wouldn't watch any news source that I thought was not trustworthy. I do not trust CNN or MSNBC because I have determined that they are advocacy sources for far left liberals. The MSM has been so biased to the left for so long, that when a news source like FOX reports the truth, it appears to be biased to the left.. Just my opinion.

There are no Trump supporters who are not deplorable.
Trump revealed himself quite honestly--the only honest thing he's ever done--during his presidential campaign.
Anybody who voted for him got exactly that for which he/she voted.

And thus, EVERY Trump supporter is deplorable. And not redeemable.

What my friend politalker doesn't seem to understand is that making contrived excuses for genuinely bad people comes perilously close to actually being a a genuinely bad person.

I know that isn't his intent, so I wish he'd stop doing it.

You should run for president. Hillary did great with the "deplorable" quote.

I'm quite content with being comfortably retired, but thanks nonetheless for the endorsement, Earl.

Hi Earl,

Why would a news source have the largest viewership if trust in the accuracy was not extant?

Because it reinforces stereotypes the viewers wish to believe,

I wouldn't watch any news source that I thought was not trustworthy. I do not trust CNN or MSNBC because I have determined that they are advocacy sources for far left liberals.

That makes sense for anyone who has predetermined that anything but right-slanted news is not trustworthy.

The MSM has been so biased to the left for so long, that when a news source like FOX reports the truth, it appears to be biased to the left.. Just my opinion.

Exactly. It's your opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own view. My view is that Fox is a propaganda network for Donald Trump. My view is that saying controversial things gets attention. Donald Trump wants attention so he says controversial things which are often not even correct. That gets attention, Fox News and Donald Trump need each other. They both need attention. It gets them wealth and power. They work in a symbiotic arrangement to mislead the public and gain power. That doesn't make the things said on Fox News fair and balanced. It just means they are getting attention and selling advertising by appealing to the uneducated and the misinformed. Which is actually quite prominent in capitalism, appealing to the uneducated and the misinformed.

You guys watch MSNBC, who employs former CIA spook John Brennan as a contributor. You guys read he likes of Buzzfeed and NYT, who has an incestuous relationship with both the FBI, CIA, and the opposition party.

Well, no. I watch OAN most of the time because they are fair and show the Constitution and quotes from great American presidents. I do not watch FOX much but my esposa does. Calling FOX viewers uneducated and misinformed is your opinion...and an incorrect one, in my opinion.

Hello Heff,

I normally do not watch MSNBC. I don't even have cable. I get the headlines from listening to NPR.

I learn of many stories through JPP, which usually prompts me to do online research. As a part of that research I like to verify the credibility of sources.
