I consider "deviation" particularly apropos in a discussion about promoting homosexuality to children via broadcast media. Based upon the examples cited, I don't suppose the content creators were cautioning the young against "stranger danger".

I think pretending that folks like that do not exist is far more damaging to folks than having a few shows that let people know they exist.
