Has the United States lost the Iran war?

Report it and see what Damocles thinks, I think you simply do not want to discuss it in an honest way.
Want to or unable to?

I can't see his posts but am familiar with the personality. I'm guessing he's dissenting that Trump got the US into a war it can't win without going nuclear or costing the lives of thousands of Americans in a full scale invasion and occupation.

Every president in history has made promises they couldn't keep. For a true "quick win" we would have needed a ground invasion on the scale of Iraq. What it shows is that the President AND his advisors, including in the military, simply haven't got a clue how Iran operated politically. And, yes, that is totally possible.

So we agree. Trump promised this would be a very quick win. That promise, not kept, in my opinion, means we have a defacto loss in this war. We are much more powerful than Iran militarily...and not obtaining a promised quick win in that encounter puts us in the LOSS column.

I just used less disguised words than you.

I see that differently. The boxing champ was just being manganous to the girl. Rather than pummel her into a vegetable, he let her have her 'fun' windmilling at him while he pulled his punches in return. That isn't a loss, that's doing the right thing.

You are seeing it differently because you want to look past this loss. Okay...I understand. When the Fuhrer says "This is a win"...you have no choice but to see it as a win.

This is a big issue. The US is a very powerful nation and ends up in world politics constantly. It's about time we started teaching our kids while they're in school how to deal with such things. Of course, that means we would have to abolish most of our current system of education with one that actually produced good results and that's unlikely to happen.
Not sure about your point here, TA.

You said something that I showed to be incorrect.

This other stuff was like you talking about football in response.

I'm always honest. It's why you and I clash.

Let's start with the Baghdad Bob claim that "Iran is rapidly rebuilding." What evidence do you offer to support your hyperbole? Rebuild with what? Your ports are blockaded.

So, even on APP, no discussion of the topic, I see.

You started a troll thread in APP.

If you think Trump is winning the war make the case.

I have a dozen times.

According to Iran, the USA has done over a trillion dollars of damage bombing them. America has utterly destroyed all air forces of Iran, Leaving Iran to fight with drones only. The Iranian navy sits at the bottom of the Persian gulf, leaving Iran to fight in rubber dinghies.

America has imposed an absolute blockade on Iran keeping them from selling oil or importing any goods beyond food and staple items.

Jarod asking whether or not we are losing the Iran War is a perfectly legitimate and topical question.

Jarod is posting incendiary propaganda on behalf of the enemy of America during times of war.

Body counts don't win wars. We learned that in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

None of the strategic goals Trump identified as being necessary for American victory have been achieved.

So democrats fight a propaganda war against America on behalf of Iran.

None of the strategic goals Trump identified as being necessary for American victory have been achieved.

Really? The strategic goal of ending the ability of Iran to produce a nuclear weapon has absolutely been achieved. This was the only goal the Trump administration ever stated. All other goals have been added by the democrats/IRGC as part of the propaganda war democrats fight against America with.

Agreed on all points.

The Dementia Don has jumped headfirst into a quagmire and is now blaming the military for not fighting hard or long enough. The MAGA morons are swallowing whatever excuses he makes as they always do.

They share roads that travel deep into China, and there are these things called airplanes, and trucks that ship items to be used for rebuilding. Look at the newspapers, they describe that they are doing so.

Below is chat GPT's response to the question, 'Is Iran rapidly rebuilding?"

Yes — by most recent accounts, on two fronts at once, though with real uncertainty about how far along things actually are.

On missiles, the picture is fairly stark. After the 2026 war with Israel and the US — which involved roughly 2,600 targeted strikes and around 30,000 combined attacks, and which Iranian officials say cost some $300 billion in military infrastructure damage — Iran's ballistic missile arsenal fell from an estimated 2,500 missiles to somewhere between 500 and 1,000. Israeli defense officials, per reporting this month, have been surprised by how fast that number is climbing back. Some of the recovery is less "rebuilding" than "recovering what was already there": Iran reportedly used bulldozers to dig out underground stockpiles faster than analysts expected, meaning some of the "new" missiles are actually pre-war inventory that survived the strikes rather than freshly manufactured ones. But Iranian officials are also on record saying production itself has resumed "at a much faster pace than expected," and if output reaches even 100–300 missiles a month, some estimates put Iran back near pre-war arsenal levels by early-to-mid 2027. The IDF's own assessment is that it "substantially harmed" Iran's capability but that Iran found "creative ways" to bounce back on specific threats.

On the nuclear side, it's murkier but points the same direction. The June 2025 strikes destroyed most of Iran's known, above-ground enrichment infrastructure, and satellite imagery this summer showed repair work at sites like Taleghan 2 (within the Parchin complex, believed to store explosive components relevant to weapons work) and vehicle activity at tunnels near the suspected underground site at Pickaxe Mountain near Isfahan — notably, some of that activity was observed while a memorandum with the US was supposedly in effect. Iran also still holds large stockpiles of previously enriched uranium and the technical know-how, even with facilities damaged, so the expert view (e.g., from Carnegie and FDD) is that Tehran is likely shifting toward smaller, harder-to-find clandestine facilities rather than trying to rebuild industrial-scale enrichment in the open. The IAEA has lost access to the damaged sites, so independent verification of exactly how far this has progressed is thin — much of what's public rests on satellite imagery interpretation, Israeli/Mossad assessments, and Iranian officials' own statements, all of which carry their own incentives to shade the picture one way or another.

The honest caveat: "rapidly rebuilding" is the framing coming largely from Israeli and Western defense/intelligence sources with an interest in maintaining pressure (including argument for further strikes), and from Iranian officials with an interest in projecting resilience. Both push toward the same narrative, which makes it plausible but also worth reading with some skepticism about precision — the actual state of the covert nuclear side in particular is genuinely contested rather than confirmed.

It looks like Iran will permanently have dominion over the Strait of Hormuz, and we will pay them (if we don't just walk away),

They are already rapidly rebuilding, and now have every incentive to get Nuclear Weapons. 8 years after Obama's nuclear deal, they had not yet enriched uranium even close to a level needed for a bomb, they started after the deal was ended 6 years ago now they certainly will expedite that goal. Maybe we set them back 2 years, but the second this war is over the clock will start ticking.

Thoughts?
Can you show evidence of Iran "rapidly rebuilding".

Then if they are rebuilding as quickly as is claimed, then thats all the more reason to continue bombing them. I hope we can agree that Iran is singularly focused on destroying the west and America specifically. What should we do?

We should see how f we can get them back into the Obama deal. We aren’t going to restart the bombing, not at least until after November.

Delays are unfortunate. Iran hasnt kept to any deals. The radical islamists that run that country have no intention of giving up on trying to kill us. They were a problem for the founders of this country and they are a problem 250 years later. Im not sure how much its going to take to get people to realize radical islam poses a significant threat everywhere and not just here. Radical islamists make no distinction between you and me.

The people now running Iran are much more radical than those Trump had killed. They pose a threat, but Trumps actions heightened the threat. Killed American hero’s and is roiling the oil markets worldwide. A president should never take military action unless he has a clear OBJECTIVE and exit plan.

Clearly DJT did not have any of those things, it was the second most damaging and reckless thing he has done.
