"How do you define socialism personally?"

"Demand for proof fallacy"... boy you say stupid things. Proof of a position is foundational and not fallacy to request.

Now let's go they your criteria and apply them to the above.

By your OWN criteria Mamdani has to be a political dictatorship or none of that applies.

Explain to us how his administration is a dictatorship and not democratically elected?
Mamdani is acting like a dictator. Do you understand what a generalization is? At this point you've gone to a No True Scotsman fallacy.

No.

You gave your proper definition of what a socialist is and I'm using it.

That is the second fallacy in a row you are using wrong as pointing out by YOUR definition he does not fit is just pointing out fact.

Do you need to rewrite your definition as a definition that you say is just a generalization and thus not too be held to is not a definition.

Or since Mamdani does not fit your definition suggest someone else in the history of their Dem party as surely their must be one who fits it

I've pointed out to you prior that in our entire history of talk you have NEVER used a fallacy correctly and should stop trying to apply them as you look stupid when you get them so wrong.

Take that as friendly advice

Dictators can be elected. Kim Jong Il is technically elected. Maduro in Venezuela was technically elected. Dictatorships do not have to be absolute either.

You used a No True Scotsman.

You went straight to demanding to know how Mamdani is an absolute dictator with the assumption that an absolute dictator is or cannot be not elected.

Ok so everyone who comes to power in the US does so via election running on their policy platform which Mamdani did to.

So how does Mamdani move over to the dictatorship column from the 'elected with a mandate' one?

Also pointing out something is wrong is not the no true Scotsman fallacy. I'm not saying no one fits. I am saying you gave a definition that does not fit.

If you define Meat in a way and then use an example of a vegetable it is not no true Scotsman for me to point out your error. I do not have to pretend your mistake fits your definition

Te problem with you is you apparently dont know what capitalism is either
The problem with you magats is you will not stick to any one definition and how you apply it switches based on whether it's a leftist or magat doing the action.

I got @T. A. Gardner to give his definition for socialism and the minute I showed him Mamdani does not fit it, he instantly changed saying his definition should not be used as he wrote it and is just a generalization, meaning we are back to him subjectively demanding strict adherence for Trump actions as he says "not socialism" but he gets to apply generalized to leftists.

You magats are empty shills.

Socialism is a political philosophy that advocates social power over the means of production. It does not exist in any country, and it never has.

Trump demanding Golden Shares that give the government certain key rights and veto controls in key industries is the closest we have had to true socialism and if he and subsequent governments continue to use their pressure to get more of them the US will be well on its way to socialism.

If a leftist government does the cries from magats will ring out. Point out Trump is doing it and they have no issue and say "not socialism" based on a strict definition.
