Irrelevant. This was and is not how Chinese Disease was transmitted. It is a virus. Secondly, if the mask is worn improperly and there isn't a good seal all the way around the circumference, it's nearly worthless for that reason alone. Few people had mask training. This reason was one of the major ones I saw as a reason to NOT wear those worthless little masks. I had repeated military and industrial training in use of masks for a variety of purposes.

He did his job directly, fighting and controlling an epidemic as our previous experiences with them indicated. The problem started when Daffy Donald was talking at COVID pressers. He knew nothing about it, but free TV time was something he could not pass up. Often the time expired before the doctors could speak.
He used the platform to talk about hydroxychloroquine, light, and other crazy treatments. He is a consumer of conspiracies and strange information, which he somehow believes immediately. Trump's followers accept his ideas over epidemiologists. We have to survive 2 more years of this bumbling fool.
