what kind of evidence could have survived 30 plus years? Do you ever think? This boils down to her word against his and all the corroborating witnesses she has. She has her shrink she told about it 5 years ago. She has girls who were there saying they heard about contempoporaneously. She has friends who were told long ago . She has lots of people who will attest to her honesty. But Repugs will not allow them to speak. Wonder why? Yes, that could mean Roe vs Wade being over turned....but that's a careful what you ask for...you might get it situation. There are long standing culture wars issues that conservative politicians have advocated that a large majority (as in 75% or more) of the American population oppose.

Once conservatives have a solid conservative majority on the court there will be tremendous pressure to bring cases before the Supreme Court on those issues. Ruling against those issues could have serious political backlash on the GOP. Thus I doubt you'll see any radical changes. Which again could put GOP politicians on the hot seat with the conservative wing of the party.

Remember something Democrats have going for them. Republicans run on government being the problem, get elected and prove it. LOL

So if a GOP Scotus would overturn Roe v Wade and send women back to the coat hanger era you'd probably see a political backlash on the GOP that would place them in the political minority for a generation or more. That's why I tend to doubt that would happen.

So relax everyone, just as Trump getting elected hasn't destroyed America and with his most significant accomplishments being providing comedy for late night talk show hosts, the world hasn't ended. So it shall be with Kav becoming an associate Justice.

I don't think Roe vs Wade will be "overturned"; but it may modified, to cover medical conditions, rape, incest, etc..

Are you saying that not one woman has ever submitted a false accusation, it resulted in convictions, and then later it was found to be false.

You are aware that "hearsay" is not allowed as evidence!!

And she's now saying that the "shrinks" notes are wrong.

So people who can attest to her honesty, should be allowed and believed ; but does that mean that those who speak of Kavanaugh's honesty, are also to be allowed and believed??

Then, how is this determined??

If she has 35 and he has 40, does that make him more believable??
