It's already flat. There are so few cases in the world compared to the world population that there is no 'curve' to flatten.
Very few cases of these very few cases require hospital treatment at all. Most of the time, it appears about as severe as a cold. Most recover in 3-6 days. Since the test is for antibodies, not the virus, people that have had this flu will still show positive on the tests.
Hospitals in the United States are the best in the world. They can easily cope. This is a mild flu season. Our hospitals have handled much worse flu seasons with no problems.
Then of course are the manufactured numbers, the mass hysteria over nothing, and the shutting down of the economy over nothing. A worldwide infection rate of 0.000275% is insignificant. A worldwide death rate from this flu of 0.00003% is insignificant.
