Your claim does not make sense from a simple time point of view. Somalian immigration was started by Reagan, and most of it was ended by Clinton. That was decades before Obama was President. Most of the immigrants admitted into the USA by Obama would not have had citizenship by the time of Omar running in 2018.

Omar applied for refugee status in 1991, when Bush the elder was President. I guess he is the one you should be blaming. Though the program does go back to Reagan, so you could blame him.


Both Bush and Reagan are already dead, so you cannot hang them for what you claim is treason. Maybe we can disband the political party they were in, and hang whoever is the leader of that party...

Somalis applied for refugee status from refugee camps outside Somalia. When they got visas, the flew to the USA on commercial flights. They then decided for themselves where they wanted to live in the USA. For instance, originally Omar's family chose to live close to DC, in Arlington, but years later found that Minnesota had a larger Somali population.

The Somali pirates became an issue a decade or two later, so no Somali pirates.

Near Fort Hood

There are almost no Somalis near Fort Hood. It is in the middle of nowhere Texas. Outside of those serving on the military base, I can think of no reason that any Somali-Americans would want to live in the area. Their food is not available in the area, their religion is not practiced in the area, and no one speaks their language in the area.

Chattanooga

The last census found there were 5 Somalis in Chattanooga. That is not 500, 5k, 5 million, that is 5. That is what we like to call 0%. You may argue that it is not actually 0%, but any sane rounding puts that at 0%.

Do you know what a minyam is? It does not directly apply to Somalis, but it is a good way to describe why there are not Somalis around Fort Hood, or in Chattanooga.

A Jewish minyam is 10 Jewish adult men who are needed for many Jewish services. Any less than that, and you do not have a Jewish community that can have Jewish services. That means that any Jews in such a place are isolated, and do not want to be there. While other cultures do not have a word for this, they almost all have the concept.
