Well, this is a distinction between 'slavery' and 'land ownership'. (Just as an aside, most 'Whites' were Serfs in Europe, and know what being 'economic slaves' is all about)
I think this is going somewhere other than a 'Black vs White' issue.
It's about Private Property, the Basis of Capitalism. There are Land Records, there are Owners then, there are Owners today. Anytime someone acquires*Property, it goes through a process of Title Examinations.

Who were the Insurance Companies that skipped out of the 'Fire Insurance'? What role did the State of Oklahoma play in this? (I think a State University sits on top of part of the Land) I think there is a good case for Compensation here.
