America built the country into the worlds best by massively investing in the lower and MIddle class in ways that helped them build wealth and taxing the wealthy fairly. And it paid off for everyone.

Now America is shifting the taxation burden onto the MC and below while systematically letting the uber rich pay less or zero. And America is struggling as a result and the uber rich point and say 'brown people are the reason... they are taking your money'.

China is trying to follow a similar path to what made the US great and investing to move mass amounts of people to the MC from poverty and the US is tying to follow the Russia model where top Oligarchs gut everyone else and the country under performs as a result and goes into decline.

Well said. Our founders deliberately created the public education system in order to lift people from poverty and create a thriving, educated middle class. They recalled their history wherein only the upper classes could read and write, and wanted none of that. Basic economics ought to be part of every public high school's curriculum. It would go a long way to educating young people on how our system works best, and dispel the RW notion that the uber wealthy shouldn't have to pay a higher tax rate than the MC and LC.
