JPP Fantasy Football - Just Plain Politics, The Legend!

@Poor Richard Saunders is shellacking @Nomad this week - as I'm being shellacked by the Brentwood Ballers. This happens once in awhile - but I have to tell you, Nomad - all is not totally lost - if Jalen Hurts and your Philly defense scores a combined total of 52 points tonight - you'll win - I think Yahoo's "1% underdog status" for Nomad is a little out of bounds.

@IBDaMann - same sitch as Phannie - you have a really good roster - Carol Ice's team just had a slightly better week. I am so jealous your opponent has JSN - I had him last year and he took me to the league championship.

It's nice that Yahoo provides us all recaps after each week. But why do they have to be so mean?

FYI - for those who might not know - I'm Seattle Reign - Brentwood Ballers is the manger who kicked my senior butt last week!

Brentwood Ballers Crushes Seattle Reign: A Lesson in Fantasy Football 101!

In a shocking display of football prowess, Brentwood Ballers obliterated Seattle Reign with a score of 148.10 to 70.26, securing their victory late Sunday. If Seattle Reign's grade was any lower, it would be a negative number! At this rate, they might need to start studying for a remedial class in fantasy football.

For Seattle Reign, Will Reichard was the shining star, somehow managing to beat his projection with 16 points--congratulations on being the best of the worst! Meanwhile, Jonathan Taylor decided to take a vacation from scoring, earning a dismal 8.2 points, which is hardly worth mentioning. On the other side, Brentwood Ballers's Bijan Robinson was on fire, surpassing his projection by scoring an impressive 34.3 points, while DeVonta Smith contributed a mere 9.5 points. Guess you can't win 'em all, right?

With this win, Brentwood Ballers proudly stands at 3-0-0, while Seattle Reign languishes at 1-2-0, sitting comfortably in 7th place. Brentwood Ballers must be feeling like the kings of the castle, while Seattle Reign is still trying to find the front door. Can Seattle Reign bounce back, or are they destined to stay at the bottom of the league like a forgotten sock in the dryer?

Next week, Seattle Reign faces LifeIsGolden904, and they might want to take a good, hard look in the mirror and ask themselves, 'What the heck happened?' Meanwhile, Brentwood Ballers will be taking on Bifocal Kid, and they should keep riding this wave of success. If Seattle Reign hopes to avoid another F-grade, they might want to consider actually starting players who score points instead of just showing up for the snacks!

Thanks. I know about Jefferson. I'm just waiting to see if he might play afterall.

After losing every single game last year, I can't believe I have won twice so far! Woo hoo. It took me a year to learn how this works.
Like I keep sayin', Goldie - you're no longer a rookie - like JSN you came in and are on the way to dominating the league!!!

I hope you don't mind that I'm going to do my best this week to get in the way of that ;)

Alright ladies and gents - @Phantasmal - Bucky Irving now has an 89% chance of starting this week - I would check his status just prior - you also have room on your bench for an RB2 - I highly recommend you pick up one of these RB's now so you'll have a backup if Irving's not t "go" for Sunday:

Seattle Reign Stomps LifeIsGolden904: A Grades vs. D Disasters!

In a thrilling Week 4 showdown, Seattle Reign emerged victorious with a score of 118.12 to LifeIsGolden904's dismal 91.32. The win came early on Sunday, leaving LifeIsGolden904 wondering how they managed to drop the ball so spectacularly. With a grade of A, Seattle Reign clearly studied hard, while LifeIsGolden904 might as well have taken a nap during class--D for 'Don't even try next time!'

For Seattle Reign, Will Reichard was the shining star, outperforming his projection with a dazzling 19 points, while Dalton Kincaid barely showed up, scoring a pathetic 1.2 points--was he even on the field? On the other side, LifeIsGolden904's Cam Little managed to scrape together 14 points, but Parker Washington must have thought he was playing hide and seek, scoring just 1.5 points. Maybe next week he should consider showing up to the game?

With this win, Seattle Reign improves to a respectable 2-2-0, while LifeIsGolden904 remains stuck in the mediocrity of a 2-2-0 record. It's like watching two turtles race, and one of them forgot to start! Seattle Reign is now sitting pretty at 6th place, while LifeIsGolden904 is clinging to 5th like a lifebuoy. If only they could find a way to score points instead of just attending the game for the snacks!

Looking ahead to next week, Seattle Reign will face Bifocal Kid, and they should stick to what worked this week: scoring points! Meanwhile, LifeIsGolden904 has a daunting matchup against IBDaTeam--if they want to avoid another embarrassing loss, perhaps they should consider practicing a bit more. Seriously, does anyone on that team even know how to play?
