Which I'm sure was Mitch's intial plan, but if the inquiry continues to find revelations, aka its' John Dean, it is going to be tougher for Mitch to "dismiss it" without looking like a whitewash

If the House comes up with an impeachable act... I agree. If they do, there is no way he could dismiss it. But thus far, there are no impeachable offenses that have been presented.
