Well, that’s your opinion, but she inserted herself into his politics, she deserves criticism, in my opinion, we disagree once, again.
I personally have never envied rich, old fat guys who purchase arm candy.
In my experience, there is a universe of very attractive females who will date men who have good personalities, look presentable, take care of themselves physically, and are fun to be with.
I would be suspicious of any female who approached a relationship as transactional, no matter what she looked like.
Super models do make good eye candy though

Hillary Clinton got 3 million more votes in 2016 than trump did. She was more popular than trump at the time. She has not lost popularity since then, but trump sure has.
Or we can look at her as most admired woman. She was number one as Gallup's most admired woman 22 times from 1993-2017. That is a record high.

Completely agreed. Still, it's a matter of personal choice and I see these attacks on Melania as no better than body shaming, race shaming, sexual preference shaming or any other form of attack on legal, personal life choices.
Agreed a lot of them look good...and that's as far as the attraction ever goes for the reasons you mentioned.

I've had people say similar things about me because I married a Filipina 18 years younger than me. Hell just last summer some clown was trying to provoke me that she was just using me for a green card. I was like dude...not only have we been married now for 16 years but you're to late. She's a US Citizen now. LOL (and personally I think my Misses is way hotter than Melania...but I could be biased.)

I spent about six years in L.A. and I saw a lot of transactional relationships. It's a whole town premised on being something they're not:
Hot Girl: I'm an actress (she works at Starbucks and dreams of being an actress)
Guy: Oh really, I'm a producer (when in reality he's like 10th in line and at the bottom of the food chain of some production)
Hot Girl: (in Valley Girl voice) Really? Like, who do you work for?
Guy: Precedes to lie, or greatly stretch the truth, and name drops some big time person
This type of deal was never ending. I get that people don't like the Trumps but guys trying to impress hot women, and hot women hooking up with men with money has been going on I'd assume since the beginning of time but is definitely not a new phenomenon.
Melania was a business transaction. She sold her looks and silence for a secure and fancy life. Trump has no idea of love. Everything is a deal, money paid out and something coming back. She learned. She redid the prenup when he became the accidental president. Trump is a broken person. I am glad we are rid of him.
She also secured permanent residency in the USA for her parents through the very process that Trump negatively refers to as "chain migration."

I really just meant that the transactional nature of Melania's relationship with Trump is based on finances and money, not based on green cards.
I actually think the concept of beautiful Asian and Slavic women beating doors down to marry middle aged, overweight American men just to get a green card is a little bit of an urban legend, a little overblown.

Most Russian Americans aren't even truly Russians, in fact the majority are Jewish.
I believe years back I saw a stat that only 15% of Russian Americans were legit Russians.

A lot of newer arrival Slavic & Asians in the USA self segregate.
Where I live & grew up had less recent Slavic arrivals.
Nearby Mahopac, NY had lots more, a lot of Polish, Slovak, Czech etc recent arrivals who formed large groups who self segregated.
Of course, we know similar applies to Asians & their China towns & K towns etc.
