How is "First Lady" even a thing?
Does a president have to be a straight married male so that we have a "First Lady?"
Does the Constitution specify the duties of a "First Lady?"
If we actually had an honest, competent, progressive president, I wouldn't care if his wife was a pole dancer or her husband was a masked professional wrestler.
Our president doesn't need to pardon turkeys, hide Easter eggs, light national Christmas trees, or do any of that TV bullshit.
We don't need a charismatic celebrity president.
We need an articulate president with a genuinely elite mind who goes to work every day and does his job.
I don't need a fucking populist president with whom I might enjoy having a beer.
As a matter of fact, none of my friends are the "Joe Six Pack" type anyway.,,obviously.
And if we could get a president that was any good, he/she would be worth a hell of a lot more than a paltry four hundred grand a year.
The minimum wage for an unknown MLB rookie is $563,500.
Also, we don't even have to know who the spouse is until someone points her/him out at a state dinner.
